I've got the staff from Hogger for now haha. I still haven't discover the 20% attack speed nor the rage rune (working on it, no spoilers, please!) but I just learnt blacksmith and will level it a bit now to start craft stuff for myself
as for talents I'm planning to get Cruelty to 5 and then Improved Rend if running that rage on bleed rune, then maybe 2 points into Deflection if I see that I'm not using Heroic Strike that much

@candid ravine I’ve downloaded gather mate add on and imported all treasure chest locations. Then I go to lower level areas where they spawn and farm those areas. There’s a high drop rate from the chests and you also get a chance from mobs

@klic nope. Only reason I saw lower level chests is because most are guarded by multiple mobs, so easier to solo in lower level areas

I did the death run. It doesn’t take long and you can get flagellation while you’re in the area. The lich can be soloed and anybody can loot as long as you hit the mob. My and another alli war took it down and we both could loot the rune

you can even dip pretty far below because endless rage will just make your rage bar explode

and yeah pretty much theres not a whole lot we can do. I try to use bloodrage off cd unless its a boss that it doesnt make sense like gelihast or ghamoora
this is just a standard one but there is definitely better for single target
the cleave talent is nice tho
just swap your heroic strikes to cleaves whenever theres an add or whatever, its faceroll

My 2snt: Doesnt matter much. With full prot, you'll take less damage but comparing to just playing tonk with DPS talents, the difference isnt that big. But if you are going to be tanking dungeongs then full prot is totally fine. Hand out Rend like its free candy, thunderclap and devastate the ugliest mf of the pack. Also deva seems to be better with slower weapon since it does 60(+5x6)% of weapon damage
IMHO you dont even need to go prot for tanking currently (unless doing BFD) since you can just swap in all tanking runes

awesome, that helps out a lot, I mostly level duo so I wanted to be the tank for dung/raids. I didn't know about fury tanking beforehand and I got all confused xD im at lvl 24 and so far the only issue during dungeons is Hunter multishotting everything but oh well

Dps, rend spam. I tank instances and often I can deal with trash without it, just spamming thunderclap and rending everyone. But slow weapon + bleeds allow me to keep up almost constant Sunder spam
But AoE is trickier against something like Hunter or Mage going pedal to the metal
Thou never had real problems. Likely due to playing with guildies who tend to use moderation (I often tell to wait for 2 thunderclaps before starting AoE)

Yeah I disagree on this, I dont feel Devastate has anything wrong with it. Sunder + damage is cool combo that seems to do adequate amounts of threat to keep single target mobs stuck in you
And of course AoE threat is a problem but that can be solved to mention your trigger happy DPS about it. Holding aggro is a skill of tanks as is not overaggroing skill of every DPS
And even with overaggroing I've never felt I've had problem with it. Just taunt the mob back and if theres multiple, let people show their skills with their new toys

also as nwb said earlier, stick to 2h until you find the best weapons I would say, once you get geared with the sword and dagger then dw should be a bit better but until then I would say 2h is better and doesn't require as much

Depends on what’s available to you. Meta is DW if you get the two weapons from BFD , but there are top logs with Deadly Strike of the Hydra 2h too.

If you’re playing DW then that’s fine, I think butcher’s cleaver is technically better than barbs, but those should work fine!
From what I’ve read / and what the logs show, 2h is just better until you get the DW weapons from BFD- but not sure by how much

I honestly like the idea behind quick strike over heroic because it doesn’t reset your auto attack and you don’t have to worry about swing timers. If you pay attention while you use it your AA comes in almost right after it as opposed to using heroic and skipping an AA entirely

No, there is no internal cd, and it triggers passively. The idea is that you get up to 80 rage, then hover in the 70-100 rage area.
Each time CBR triggers @ 80 rage, you can use 2x raging blows. Felt really good playing with these runes, weaving in overpowers and raging blows + queueing HS/cleave to manage rage.

Arms isn’t a bad choice either if you’d rather be able to swap stances easier
Tbh at this level the only real talent that matters is 5/5 cruelty, everything else is mostly preference, the performance difference between the specs is negligible

@livid granite it’s very rare but when you are capped on rage and need to really dump it you would que it right after a QS. That dumps it quick and gets you out of danger of over capping. I don’t fully understand the “queuing” mechanics

Runes: Quick Strike + Raging Blow + consumed by rage + quick strike
Basicly rushing 80 rage, using quick strike to get below 80 and raging blow for more free dps

@scenic brook raging blow with that point in enrage would be sick. You would be enraged all the time and could just use RB off cooldown and get that 5%dmg boost to it.

If I understood correctly, 2h is way to go. If you get those LW epic gloves + 3 pc raid set you get enough hit% that makes DW just slightly better. Personally, cba the fuzz of getting those gloves for such minor upgrade

I know its not a great benchmark but I really think SMF warrior preforms better than QS 2H war in PvE, I'm doing 20-30 more dps than them consistently

on the last boss in ashenvale I was doing 100 dps compared to the next war who was 2h QS at 72 dps

Mhhh. I ususlly crit for 360-500. Therefore deep wounds would tick around 35-45 dps. Atleast for 2h I think arms could be actually better

A lot of runes for many classes are almost impossible to do alone. Thats why its good to find a guild that will have people who help you and you help them in return (whoa its almost like blizz designed it to force social interaction :D)

@sick idol yes don’t sleep on staves! Warriors get a big boost from straight dps of a weapon so if the dps is higher than your current weapon, then absolutely take it! I don’t know what the speed is but you ideally want a slow weapon. The stats won’t be great but you will see bigger dmg numbers irregardless
@weary mauve bro your best bet is to go there and die inside. Ghost walk up to the room where the shield is and rez. You have to hope a group already went in there and killed him. I got extremely lucky doing this

there are like 4 chest spawns
and they have a decent drop chance or the 500 or 800 rep chests
takes like half a day
only problem is having to run from zoram everytime u fly
this was my damage on kelris with SMF/Flag/consumed rage
did also crit first boss for 960 execute seen of few of them now
i dont know if 100 dps is actually good im not taking it too seriously

i suppose u could save hits 80 rage -> raging blow -> execute -> raging blow -> bloodrage to pop yourself back into enrage
