I'd first ensure that it is, in fact, a WA causing it. i know in ElvUI you can hover over your clock (i believe it's the clock, it could be another item), but it'll show your memory usage per-addon, sorted highest to lowest.

See if WAs is your top usage at that time. It might be another plugin, or it could be a plethora of spell effects.

If you have a second monitor you can also pull up your task manager/activty monitor to make sure it's not a CPU/GPU/etc bottleneck at the hardware level of your actual machine as well

from there it's a bit of a trial-and-error system though, disabling things until you notice it's smooth again, reenabling to double-check that your suspected culprit is the real root-cause

Are you talking about the tooltip? Then just move the Tooltip anchor. If you are talking about the damage meters, you have to unlock them and can drag and drop. If you have embedded them (/EC - AddonSkins - Embedding) you need to deactivate the embedding. Sorry, i am playing on german client, so i don't know the exact translation.

I use Kui plates, works the same as Plater. I've never had an issue with cast bars showing as non kickable unless they actually are. A party cooldown tracker is nice, and WA from lux is very handy as well.

I use both of them depending on class. Pros are that you can go through and disable the WAs you don't want/need, you can move the individuals WAs that you do want around, and ofc you don't have to go fiddling about making your own WAs that look good. Cons are that you do have to spend some time either tweaking them to fit your UI or design your UI around the default set layout, and if you go around tweaking too much then maybe it would be better to just make your own.

I started using threat plates as a health bar add on based on Bajheera and imported his settings from his video on the add on. I’ve been enjoying them until I went into my first rated battleground as arms and tried to target cal. The bars won’t overlap and thus the bars became very desynced from the enemy location and it became very difficult for me to tell when I was close to a low health enemy to sharpen blades them. I spent about 20 minutes trying to find a setting for this and came up with nothing. Anyone overcome this situation before? Thanks!

I personally use "saved instances" to see my lockouts. And then the macro to see how many 14's & higher done during that week :-).

My struggle is that I want Condemn to glow when possible to use, but also if I'm bladestorming.

I tried using these condition
Spell usable and in combat = Glow => Condemn wont glow while bladestorming (Even if the ability is possible to use)
Active and in combat = Glow => Condemn will glow even if the target is 50%hp and no condemn procs

Somewhat clean, but i would optimise:

• i like the style of your units (player, target etc.)
• I don't like the fonts on the action bars and buffs. They are hard to read for me - if you don't read them - hide them.
• hide the bar with achievements, adventure journal etc. - it is mouse over in my ui
• i would mouseover the bar on the right border
• do you really need to know permanently how many slots in your bags are used/free? - 2 times? (bottom right, top left)
• do you really need to know your stats permanently? (bottom center)
• i would hide most of the icons at the minimap - only show the ones you are frequently(!) using (mdt, bigwigs for me)
• you're showing your buffs/debuffs two times (player unit, minimap) - i bet you only look at one - hide the other

My $.02...the human brain can only process like 7 different things simultaneously. You would probably benefit a lot by hiding many of the bars and information when you are in combat so you can focus more on mechanics and rotation while not being distracted by your UI.

Hey folks, just wondering, is there an addon that would be able to give you information after combat that would tell you how many seconds of unused GCD you had during that fight? So for instance, when doing a training dummy training, it would tell me at the end how many seconds i had in total that my GCD wasn't active.

Trying to figure out how efficient I've been with using my skills, or if there is still room to get faster, I think at some points I freeze up a bit during my 'rotation', but I'm not sure how bad it actually is haha

I'm honestly not sure. I'm trying to get this for my guilds Warriors for Lady Inerva. I'm looking for anything to announce if they've successfully reflected the spell onto her since it takes people a second to realize.

Well, there is a Weak Aura for the Warriors side that shows when to use it. The reason I was looking for this was for the other people in the guild. Sometimes the circles overlap and it takes a second for people to see if one is on the boss.

I was just hoping to find something to help with that. If it doesn't exist then there's not much to be done.

Each individual weakaura has a position, like so:

Switch the offsets between the two WAs. (As in, give MS the X-offset from OP, and vice versa, and do the same thing with the Y offset.)

Note that for some weakaura packs, certain WAs have conditions set so that they're positioned differently under certain circumstances (usually if you've picked specific talents so that weakauras don't overlap with each other), so that can complicate things

But since MS and OP are baseline abilities, that's probably not an issue in this case.

You could also just manually drag the weakauras, but then they might be a few pixels off since it's hard to place them perfectly, and that can be really annoying to look at

answer is simple: it's better to pick the one that suits you better, if you see someone's elvUI and u think that's "yeah, this one would be great for me" then just go for it, if you want to make your own adapted to your needs > go for it. In the end it still will be ElvUI

The best solution is use some else’s profile that you like and slowly tweak it to your likings. Elvui is full customizable so one you have the template you can easily modify what you need

Hi all, anyone familiar with shadowuf? I wan't to implement being able to see how big of shields people have on the nameplates currently while at full health. Currently I only see shield amounts that they have while sub 100% hp as shown in picture below. Is it possible? I kind of want it to be like how halo ce's overheal looks.

sorry to ask all these elvui questions but i use the standard blizzard chat but the messagebar (where you write) that you can click isn't there anymore - as in - i have to hit enter to open the chatbox instead of also being able to click on it to open. Anyone know what a fix could be?

Nameplate scrolling battle text - this is nice but you would need to play around with setting and I had no time
Msbt I ended up using this and fixed the text from porky and finally I like it

i deleted a weakaura on my arms warrior, it was minimalistic, but super clean. the usual auras and spells were in the middle, but on the left side was a large Mortal Strike icon and on the right was a Colossus Smash icon, both had a fancy animated background. pretty sure the author's name started with an "L". It probably isn’t possible to make WA without hard coding spell names since most aoe spells can’t be reflected and many single target spells can’t be reflected.

Personally, I made a WA set that triggers when specific enemies cast specific spells that I know can be reflected (such as Globgrog's Plaguestomp). You don't need to have the enemy targeted.

I don't know how to make it trigger only when you get targeted, though. Although that's only relevant to some abilities, there's a bunch of AoE stuff that you can reflect (like, again, Globgrog's Plaguestomp).

It wouldn’t be a terrible thing to trigger on all casts on you even if they can’t be reflected since you still benefit from the 20% dmg reduction

You have the regular bladestorm icon. You also have hundreds of other icons of every color. It may not be an an exact match but you could find an icon that looks similar to the bladestorm icon in various colors.
