Default "Tracked Bars" ui element is only working for me in town. If I pop shield wall in town, it tracks works great. If I enter a delve/m+ only sometimes does it register an ignore pain/shield block/shield wall. I disabled every addon and this is still true. Randomly started last night. Game is basically unplayable as the whole mechanic is tracking these and refreshing them or doing dps. Anyone else or am I an idiot?

Even if I set this to always displayed, it doesn't track ignore pain when popped in delves.

this is most likely because you are using an addon that does that. Looks kinda like you are using ayijee (or however his name is spelled) cdm, which skins the bars like that and overrides bar colors

You can keybind different views.

I've got 4 different views, from zoomed all the way out and looking straight down, to all the way in like 1st person. Each view is set to F5 <> F8, and pops right to exactly what I want.

Yeah, Blizz "fixed" it.

Just to save you some time:
Under camera settings

1. Bind your "view" to the key you want (e.g. F5)
2. Bind the "set view" to a mod key (e.g. Ctrl+F5)
3. Put your camera where you want it for that view and press Ctrl+F5 to set that view to F5
   Repeat for as many other views as you want

If you set the raid frame style as "combine groups (horizontal)" it will, but it'll also combine the groups instead of keeping them distinct

so like if group 2 only has 4 people in it, groups 3/4 will be shifted up one slot to fill

Newbie question...how do some players have such clean UIs?

What I mean is that a good chunk of their buttons aren't even present on their screen. Trinkets, niche abilities, even items that would be useful to have on their bars, screens, just seem absent.

Fist Image is an example of what I'm trying to describe, while the second is an example of my own setup (I realize I'm comaring different specs here). Do these players just have these "non-critical" buttons (i.e. battle shout and heroic throw, among others) memorized somehow and don't bother displaying them?

some abilities have no cost or cooldown, so there is no need to see them(heroic throw as tank)

i hide execute completely and only show it when either sudden death is active or under 35%

Funny enough, I never lose track of my stacks of tb, rage pool, bloodbath being available and such, even in the most intense interrupt pulls, I just glance at my bars. But I've set up my CD manager to keep track of my interrupt/stuns when on CD and I never learned to look at it 😂

I’m trying to really work on my UI the war within was my first time on wow and after coming away from heikili im finding it hard getting my abilities rage bar etc in the middle of my screen and having available at an easy glance M+ packs are fine
But bosses and raid bosses I’m spending to much time looking down at my hit bars and not enough time at my possitioning and boss casts etc

I really can't help with that. I usually kinda know the flow of my abilities, so I know that I can squeeze one extra BT, Clap or execute before reaching rage cap, so that's never a problem for me. Sometimes I take a glance to see when BT/BB or TC/TB is going off of CD, but that's it, regarding my rotation. I just sometimes struggle with interrupt/stuns being on CD

And its just so I never have to worry about Ignor pain and shield block, they are auto cast when spamming Thunder clap and Shield Slam

ignore pain is basically only cast when there is enough rage for it, and because its first before thunder clap, it does not eat up rage right when its provided by thunder clap

If you use sensei classressource bar addon it comes with a 4 bar whirlwind stack Tracker. You can turn off the hp and rage Meter via edit Mode if u sont want it

No Elvui, haven't used that performance sucking addon since DF. It's Unhalted Unit Frames, Arcui, raid frame settings, and a couple of other small addons

When you uninstall something and the only thing you replace it with was a unit frame addon and gain 100fps in a 30 man raid environment. You don't look back 💪

There are addons that will auto-start and stop logging as soon as you enter an instance -- This is also a built-in feature of Deadly Boss Mods and the Wowhead addon.

Then you can use the WarcraftLogs.com Companion app to upload the logs, or live log, and delete log files after they've been loaded (to avoid bloat on your HD; each log file is usually about 1GB)

As for the "log per key" thing, WCL will separate your runs into individual analysis

The first is not really consistently possible with the Midnight API. I believe there's some addons that try to guess what you're going to pull, but may attach the wrong cooldowns, may attach them to the wrong mobs, or may not attach them at all.

I would like to have more than one group of bars, I guess this is not possible in the default blizzard cdm but I was wondering if anyone knows if there is an addon that makes it possible? I would like to track defensives in one place and offensives in another, not have them all in one big stack

Yes arcui lets you do that

You have to convert them to icons

Go into the bars section in arcui

And add them/config them

U can even make an empty group and anchor your bars to it

Really nice interrupt macro from reddit. Fury Warrior version (tldr): use the macro during combat to interrupt a casting enemy in the direction your character is facing without losing your current target. If you click it when nobody is casting you will still use your interrupt so don't do that.

you must have had alot of glows/ procs etc? Same issue when WA's was around and all of my UI + extras, having proc/glow effects on things would tank frames heavily.
Used Numpy Addon Profiler for a whole 16 SEAT and my ArcUI used 0.33% CPU time of the whole Application

Yeah that tracks. m33kAuras seems more like partial compatibility now, not a full WA replacement. Most of the complex stuff just doesn’t survive the instanced restrictions. EQoL or standalone addons looks like the more stable direction now

You could use maxdps maybe… the rage bar itself is builtin so hard to resize without something like ElvUI. I did come across a site called readycheck.fyi which seems to have some good suggestions for warriors. Icy veins also has some add on suggestions
