Arc UI is the most robust, customizable option...but it's a little daunting to navigate all of the options and capabilities. I consider myself a medium UI modder, and I prefer simpler add-ons like Cooldown Manager Control and Sensei Class Resource Bars. But if you want customized buff/ability tracking, Arc UI is the best right now.

Keybinds are very personal. Its how you get used to it and how you train your muscle memory.

If you switch, it will take you at least 3 weeks to get used to it and start training your new muscle memory.

But I dont think there is bad keybinds (some are but its hard to have really bad ones.)

this works great. i have it on top of another addon called BetterEnrageBar and that seems to match the width perfectly of the CDM. IWT seems to be just 1px wide on each side. not a big deal if not fixed just wanted to report it.

There's no single-addon solution to replace WA, unfortunately. And if you read through the posts in here, you'll find almost as many suggestions as there are posters. The general consensus seems to be Arc UI plus SenseiClassResourceBars. You can either customize it to the look you want or find someone with the look you want and ask them to share their export string.

In general you can't track buffs that aren't in the CDM. However, since you know the buff is active for 5s after pressing TB, you can use an addon to listen for the cast success event and display something for 5 seconds afterwards. I know NephUI allows you to do this, I believe EQOL also has functionality for this, and I'm sure other addons do as well

Basically you aren't allowed to track buffs, but you can track the spells that activate buffs

You might still have to position it in the center after importing. but I think most of it is anchored to the Essential row. So moving that SHOULD move it all together.

Some of it is bartender4 as well. The top row abilities, and defensives on UUF player frame, and the stances. Pretty easy to manage though.

I’m using a heavily modified version of crits UUF settings. But thats where I started. Using BetterEnrageBar and sensei resources because IWT is now integrated into that.

Best advice; What I did is put my eyeballs so close to the screen I could feel the screen heat on my retinas and match it up manually. Tons of playing with the widths and heights to make those weird resolution pixel bugs line up flush.

1. But for some reason can't move the "Essential Cooldowns" (Bloodthirst, Raging Blow Rampage) above the whirlwind tracker bar) its locked to the other bars, can't move the Utility also

I don't think pawn has been used much for several expansions now. The best answer is to use raidbots.com and sim your own character - it really isn't that difficult, but it does have a nonzero barrier to entry. The lower barrier to entry options would be

1. just play whatever gear you have at the highest ilvl (this is probably more or less correct anyways with how weak our characters and gear levels are atm)
2. just follow a general stat priority as outlined by the wowhead guide

Hey! I'm Mira, protection warrioress, back to WOW after super long break and whoa, things have changed, I struggle with tracking all stuff with how absent minded I am.

Created this little add on that creates little cute annoying animation auto added to any action-button with shield block - so I create these floating action bars in the middle of the screen drop shield block skill there as a buff/CD tracker to keep it in-my-face

Was super tricky to get it to work with latest limitations and zero ability to hook into buffs or combat log and it's using some optimistic estimations but good enough to help me with my little brain glitches and tunneled focus

Pretty cool, actually. We all need visual cues, especially for mitigation. I prefer the bars that show the timer, and when it's not visible I know I'm in trouble. Maybe some others prefer your icon cue instead!

2. Re-load the character you want to use it on
3. Type /CMC in chat, the option panel will open, along with the Blizz CDM panel
4. In the Blizz CDM, set your IP, SB, and SW to bars in the Buff frame
5. In the CMC panel, select Import/Export at the bottom of the left menu
6. On the profile tab, select your character (or leave it on default if you want the CMC settings to apply to all characters)
7. In the Import tab, paste the text string (I'll DM it to you) in the window, click Accept, and then "Import Pasted Settings" at the top
8. Disable any of the other CMC modules besides the Buff Bars if you don't want to use them

So I wanted to see if there would be any interest in this little addon I made: CastTracker.

Shows your total casts for that combat encounter + your CPM vs your optimal CPM based on your current haste rating

It has a Damage mode to only record your damage ability casts and ignore your off-GCD and utility casts

Otherwise, it captures pretty much everything

On-screen real-time counter:

Cast log printable to chat

Easy controls with slash commands

I haven't published it yet, been tweaking it for features and bugs. If you want to try it out, let me know and I'll DM you the file, it's pretty small

It only works through some extremely jank workarounds (detailed in the description on curseforge) but sound is not possible, also you need to know what can and can't be reflected (which is extremely inconsistent)

Downloaded the addons Better Tracked Bars and Sensei Resource Bars. Then I imported the profiles into the addons from Critcake. Then the settings of the bars were right there. Just had to fix the positions.

For some reason on this character, whenever I untick the option in this menu, the tick appears again after I reload.

Hi everyone,

I’m struggling a bit with nameplate management in dungeons when playing tank.
What I’m trying to achieve is having a clear indicator of which mobs I currently have aggro on and which ones I don’t. The problem is that when I set this up in Plater, I lose the class colors, which are really useful for quickly identifying casters.
On the other hand, if I keep class colors, I lose clarity on aggro, and it becomes messy—especially in raid encounters like the lightblinded vanguard, where I can’t easily tell which target I’m tanking.
So I’m kind of stuck between visibility of aggro and readability of mob types.
Do you guys have any setup, Plater profile, or general approach to handle both effectively?

Hoping someone can help me, I briefly installed ArcUI and quickly decided I didn't like it. After uninstalling via CurseForge, ArcUI's icons are still covering the screen. I've gone through multiple folders to delete leftover saved variables and restarted first WoW and then my entire computer, nothing's changed.

Is this some specific Spell Reflection Issue? I do not have any Problem with other Spells in the Custom Bar like Avatar. I appreciate the help.

I set focus on pulls that have a kill target and kick targets

Before midnight I had kick on X marker (was my marker)

this way i can murder the kill target and focus kick the other one

just have a keybind to /focus, fast enough

there's a lot of discussion about this in the prot channel. you send IP at 70 rage to keep from overcapping. doesn't matter if you already have capped IP, doesn't matter if you have none. if you have 70 rage, you send ip. this keeps our damage engine going with anger management and violent outburst

No problem at all! Track whatever you'd like to track. Some people don't know that it's not a big deal to not track IP, so I was just sharing some info.

I'm always looking for opportunities to reduce clutter on my UI so I can pay attention to stuff and removing IP was helpful.

As thane you will generally hit revenge when everything else is on cooldown - the primary purpose is to fish for tactician procs, but you will generally find this happens often, you’ll end up casting it a good bit over the course of a key

You don’t ever want to be standing and not pressing a button, if nothing else is up then yes you press revenge (or execute)
