I've been having issues with my Luxthos (the Lethal Blows proc is 0.5 sec slower to appear compared to everything else in the WA), but the only WA I found doesn't function perfectly (doesn't always properly track when you send a Lethal Blow buffed Mortal Strike and immediately proc Tactician with said Mortal Strike).

Unfortunately, like Larry said, there's no way to do that. Ground targeted AoE abilities like Ravager cannot be macroed to be aimed at your target. You can aim them at your feet, or at your cursor, but not the target.

For Prot: Can anyone recommend a good WA for tracking Ignore Pain and Shield Block as bars, instead of icons with cd number inside? I found only a few for Ignore Pain (some are buggy) but none for Shield Block and when I take a full warr WA package and strip it off all other features, I cannot, for the love of god, resize the bars, no matter how I play with child-parent settings, custom options, etc. E.g. That's the CDs for trash abilities. By default, I believe DBM and Bigwigs both do this.

I would not recommend hiding it, because it's really important info in M+. You can make it smaller though.

The bigwigs version is pretty small by default, I believe, the DBM version is fucking massive (which is yet another reason why Bigwigs is much better than DBM)

Typically, you would import one of the various warrior weakaura packages from wago.io so that all of your cooldowns, buffs, debuffs, and resources are tracked in the same location instead of needing to look between several different spots on your screen

You could also make your own package, but it's a lot of work because there's so many things that you should be tracking, and even if you did want to make your own it would often be faster to start with someone else's and just modify it as needed

Just make sure it's something that's been updated semi-recently, you don't want to get used to one whose maker has quit the game and then have to adjust if/when your spec gets reworked

There's also something to be said for using a package from someone that makes packs for every spec/class, because it means that you'll already be familiar with the general setup when you play something else

I have a different opinion here. When you start off a new class and just import a WA package you will not know what is happening there, atleast that was it for me. You dont even need all the stuff that those WA packages bring in general since those sometimes show buffs that are completly irrelevant for the tank gameplay. I would 100% suggest building your own package. You dont need to be a WA genius for that as well. The stuff that really helps your gameplay will be done in 1-2hrs time, even if you are a novice in WA.

And once you are more comfortable you can just copy good stuff from other WA/ WA-packages into your own.

Not knowing what's happening can actually be helpful because it helps to let you know what you should be aware of as you are learning the spec.

Almost every single spec has tons of buffs/debuffs/whatever that you could track but don't actually matter, and a good weakaura pack won't show the ones that don't affect your decision making.

For instance, in DF season 2(?), I remember a lot of people asking for a weakaura to track the stacks of the Arms set bonus (as none of the packages at the time did so), but those packages weren't tracking it because it didn't matter. It was not information that you should have dedicated any brain power to looking at.

By contrast, if you look at your weakaura package and you see "oh, hey, this is tracking my stacks of Martial Prowess. What should I be doing with that information?"

Or, as a ret paladin, you might notice that your weakaura package is tracking your autoattack swing timer when most other specs don't, and if you stop to ask why, you'll learn that it's because your autoattacks generate holy power and knowing that's about to happen can change what you do on the next GCD

I agree with @lavish pulsar. I started with the WA from wago and as I get better with the spec I start to modify them to fit my playstyle. For example some little changes i've done are the rage bar, to show me when im close to cap the rage, or the bar with the block shield timer to change the color when is about to finish.

Personally setting up ones UI (weak auras, unit frames, action bars, etc etc) really is far more effective. You should be able to analyze your class’s passives, special effects, etc to handle weak auras and tailor every detail to suit your needs. Going through that process of researching alone will improve how you play your rotation too

Depends on what you are looking for. I use NameplateSCT because it allows me to shorten the number and then delete the letter. so in your example you would see "224" and "109" on your screen, what I like a lot. (which is an optional option tho, you dont have to do that) Font is changable too ofc, if that specifically is what you are looking for.

i can 100% recommend Cell(and Cell_Unitframes) instead of elvui unit frames, they are more flexible and more lightweight, just from numbers of cpu usage i got solid increase, slightly noticeable by eye, but it also depends on your PC and how many other addons you've got

getting rid of ElvUI is quite popular topic nowadays i'd say

this is 3 minutes on aoe dummies, i have around 31ms/s and elvui+elvui libraries eat up only 20% combined of total cpu usage

before i started to experiment with elvui replacements this computing speed(that's how i understand it) was around 63-64 ms/s at the same 3 minute combat mark with aoe dummies and elvui was eating up up to 45% of total cpu usage

idk how well it translates to dungeons and raids tho, but numbers tell me that it's worth trying

right now i've disabled in elvui unit frames, bags, chat, maps, action bars. Tomorrow i'll be testing more with different modules, bc i don't know exactly what's worth to keep and what's not

still i like elvui because with atrocity UI it changes many things visually and i like textures that are loaded by elvui and libraries, probably will come up with some combination where elvui lives, but less impactful on performance

There's two main things that you'll need to do

First is to set up two triggers, one for Demolish's CD and one for the stacks of the buff.

Then, you'll want to add a text indicator to the weakaura under display. You can set the text to show something specific by putting a format specifier in for it. For instance, %p shows "progress" (which is cooldown duration or buff/debuff duration, typically).

In this specific case, you'll want %s for stacks. However, you'll have two triggers, and you want to specify which triggers stacks to look at. To do that, you will put a number and a period between the % and the s. For instance, if the second trigger is the one that's looking at the buff, then you would use %2.s

That would be pretty easy to add to any existing execute wa. Just create triggers for marked for execution, sudden death, and juggernaut. Set conditionals to activate a glow effect when MfE stacks = 3, SD stacks = 2, and juggernaut buff time left <= 5s. You could also add a target health trigger and conditional to activate a glow whenever the target health <= 35%.

First thing to look at is if the WA is actually loaded. If you see a green circle on the aura it's loaded in some capacity. If not then we go from there

They're not hard to whip up. Rend, just make a basic WA tracking the debuff on an enemy. For demolish, you can make an easy basic wa tracking the colossal might buff

Id really recommend giving it a try just so you know how weakauras work. It'll save you loads of searching and give you great customisation long term

I want to show a pixel glow around the Thunderclap icon when I have 0 stacks of the Whirlwind buff and there are multiple enemies within 10 yards. But this aura doesn't do that.
Anyone have an idea why?
I've also tried doing Whirlwind stacks in the condition instead of as a trigger but that didn't seem to work either.

My group is still kicking spells that are on me regardless of my aura that says when I am reflecting.. I even ask them in voice not to kick but they still do.. You can, yes, although it can get a little confusing so you might want to change one of them (under condition > sound > play)

What you might've noticed is that the BT aura will only kaching once per activation. So if you go above 85% crit chance, use BT and don't crit so you're still above 85% crit chance, it won't kaching again

I don't know why, but my avatar buff uptime only shows when ravager is put on cd, but i can't seem to figure out why it's doing it

You have set the aura up to never show Avatar's duration.

I'm not sure why it's showing it during Ravagar, but that's the least of your issues.

For starters, you have the dynamic information forced to come from Trigger 1, which is the spell cooldown, not the buff duration. You could get around this by setting the text to be %2.p instead of just %p, which would pull the progress data from the second trigger.

Second, you have the text set to hide by default, then you have a condition that makes it show while Avatar is on cooldown and you don't have the buff. In other words, it doesn't show.

The weakaura overall is set up in a way that makes no sense, there are drastically simpler ways to do what it's trying and failing to do

I figured it out, the entire weakaura pack is incoherent and cursed. That's not the weakaura for avatar showing the duration, it's the Ravager weakaura showing Avatar's duration, and being set to a higher frame strata so it appears on top of the avatar weakaura

Among other things, some of the weakauras are in a lower frame strata than nameplates while others are higher, which means random abilities will get covered up by enemy nameplates during a pull

Luxthos's has a bunch of custom options to adjust which abilities show when. I personally like to move stuff to the left and right side groups and turn them into a single column that grows upwards

Beyond that I also set up the second row of the "core" icons to be left aligned so they line up with the first row, instead of centered above them, but that part was pretty hacky and involved editing the custom lua code.

I think some of the custom options won't work because I overrode them with specific weakaura settings (e.g. certain abilities like Impending Victory will always show their CD even if the custom options tell them not to) because by default that's an all-or-nothing setting and there's a few abilities that I wanted to always see the CDs of even if they were ready

But Luxthos's might be easier to work with if you want to fit it to your UI

Is there anyone here that knows how to program WAs? There was an awesome WA I liked to used that announced / kept track of actual spell reflects https://wago.io/gDJ5XzNk1/4 but it just generates an LUA error and doesn't do anything in TWW.

Ok so it appears there was a line calling GetSpellInfo to try and grab the icon of the spell being reflected but that function changed with TWW.
I commented that line out and now it works and displays a ? icon which is fine for now.

Looks like it was changed to C_Spell.GetSpellInfo

Got it working, the line changed from:

to
local icon = C_Spell.GetSpellInfo(spellId).iconID;

The other line that no longer works is
if (message) then SendChatMessage(message) end
Looks like SendChatMessage no longer exists

nvm it exists but its trying to use /say which is restricted now (prob. due to spammers?) and requires a hardware event to use that channel while outdoors.

Changing the line to
if (message) then SendChatMessage(message, "EMOTE") end fixed it

Does anyone know of any weakauras, or any other addons, that allow me to place...let's say, all existing casts for anyone im currently in combat with, stacking on eachother, that are interruptible, and ALSO allowing me to use mouseover spells to interrupt or do some action via mouseover to the individual enemies casting the spells? I ask because nameplates is just too messy and some casts are rather fast. In all the commotion of a high Mythic+ key, missing my mouseover due to accidentally kicking another nameplate that isn't even casting is proving to be pretty problematic. I've noted also that the built in options in Bigwigs for important dungeon casts is great, but it doesn't allow anything to be used via mouseover, and it doesn't show any current spells, only countdown bars for upcoming spells. Helpful, but I'm looking for simply bars to exist for interruptible casts, for everyone I'm in combat with. No weak auras I've found have worked in this way.
