So on say tindral adds spawning is green

Or on fyrakk - colossus is white, rend is pink and roar is light green

Hi! Does anyone know how to hide the frames that are underneath my SArena frames (I placed an arrow to show where they are)? I use the AUI installer and I assume that the frames I want to hide/remove are from ELVUI but I don't know how to disable only the frames for my enemies so that I can use SArena or Gladius without having them overlap. I don't have the legs to test making or updating one, sadly

Spell first use detection weakauras usually work from you using a specific spell, but the legs proc off anything, so night fae first strike is probably the best starting point

now I did the same thing for Bladestorm, but the icon is not desaturated, i think its something to do with the fact that Cleave needs Rage to be active and Bladestorm dosn't, and i would also like to have bladestorm desaturated on the wa even if i dont have it skilled

What I do is I duplicate the original spell, disable spell know check and check "desaturate" in display + set the color of the icon between grey/black

Then in load options you can set one to load when you have the talent and the other for when you do not

Not exactly warrior related but please tell me someone has found an addon or weakaura that works with sorting dungeon and raid group finder with the new filter system. Dungeon RIO and Class WA doesn't work anymore fort sorting and PGF only sorts dungeons. Windtools sorting also isn't working anymore.

as I mentioned PGF only sorts dungeons. The author said he saw no point to have it sort for raid. Pugging raid has bit been annoying this week as I've had to scroll through tons of low end groups and sift through to try and find quality ones where as before I just sorted by IO using the WA and on average most of those were well progressed raid groups. Realistically I also wouldn't mind having another minimal sorting option so I can just get rid of the addon on use blizzard's built in filter.

Any kind of sorting really. IO or raid prog but IO just seems easier from a logical standpoint since it’s one number. Blizzard sorts by newest as does PGF.

I just want raid sorted the same way or similar to the way PGF sorts dungeons. RIO Dungeon and Class WA did just that as long as PGF was disabled for raids but that functionality broke the WA with the new system lol. Was just hoping someone had an alternate solution that they may have been using because the WA isn’t going to get updated.

I tried to convert it to a texture and also tried a progress texture, but that sort of broke the whole thing.
I just want a sound and an image to pop when I should use Bloodlust. And the rest of the time be invisible

Remember that 200ms +ping assumes you are always pressing your buttons at a rate of 5x/second, if you ever push it less than this, you will have gaps between abilities. That youtube video is excellent btw!

To quickly teach you how to make one,

New Aura > Progress Bar.

Go to trigger, should already be on Aura, Player, Buff. Tick the box "Name" and type in the name of the buff you want to track.

Go to display tab, under icon setting, click show icon.

If you want it to look closer to the above, scroll down to text 1, format options, set precision to 12.

Under font flags, set outline to outline. Under anchors, set "to frame's" right. Do the same for Text 2 but change it to left.

I downloaded a weakaura for fury warrior but it is way too busy. I just want to see a weak aura that if it is not available for use, it will not appear on the screen. Also monitor proc and stacks.

you can edit the trigger that tracks the cooldown of the spell from show "always" to show "not on cooldown" .** but i wouldnt do that**. most weakauras are a Player Actionbar replacement, also those often track / show way more than just the cooldown.. like buffs or proccs or more. also tracking "always" is way less busy to your eyes than constant "popups" . also you might want to track CD timers to align buff or dps windows correctly 😉 or lets say.. you need to interrupt in 5seconds.. but you dont know if the spell is ready then or not with your "design-idea"

I doubt they're up to date, but Preachs' weakaura packs have this sort of functionality. They show back up slightly before coming off CD. you could probably dig through the conditions and load settings of it and replicate it on one you think looks nice.

Is there anyone who has a personal resource bar made in plater? Since I'm switching main to warrior prot/arms I figured in the meantime I'd do a proper UI for both specs. I'm kind of struggling with plater because it needs modding even for numerical values on power (rage) bar and the bars themselves are also immovable for some reason. What I mostly need is HP with absorb where the absorb is shown in the health bar (because of Ignore Pain mostly). It is really tedious and obnoxious and plater feels insanely unfriendly to new users

You should probably use an addon with proper unit frame configuration for your personal frame

If you use elvui, you can just use elvui frames and configure them

If not, grid2 or vuhdo will probably suit your needs

Even a weakaura for your frame is probably better than using plater for that

Briefly tested on live, so take this with an appropriate grain of salt on that. Visually it looks great, but my comments from the other channel still apply. Stuff like slam and ww cd are basically irrelevant and can be removed to reduce clutter with basically no downside. I'm also not a big fan of tracking buffs with dedicated icons when they can be integrated into existing elements - for example, you can display the duration of reck as a simple text string over top of another icon (bt would probably be best) or the duration of AJ over top of execute. That way the actionable information you want is already directly integrated with the actions you'd take related to it (eg "do I need to execute here to refresh my AJ") without adding the visual noise of having a separate icon appear with it's own timer and everything

With the tick mark for 80 rage to rampage, I think the rampage icon can just be removed entirely, again to reduce clutter

Thanks for the input! Maybe I will make a minimal version to do what you're saying, personally I like being able to get all my information from my peripheral and some of these suggestions seem like they would require taking my eyes off my character? Or maybe I'm misunderstanding

Sorry for the low res screenshot but this is an example of what I meant (arms instead of fury, but the same principles apply)
My juggernaut duration is the blue text on the execute icon instead of a separate icon, and my EP/MS stacks are the red and white text in the corners of the MS icon in the middle. There's no reason imo to add a whole new icon for EP when the actionable information it provides is related to MS (an icon you already have there anyways), same with juggernaut duration

I also personally like to add glow conditions for stuff like being at max stacks or for certain combinations of things (like when to use WW for arms ToM windows) but that's mostly because I'm dumb and my ui conveying that information is useful to me

Another example here: the red glow on execute means I have an SD proc (as opposed to execute being generally usable), which isn't particularly relevant now, but was useful in s3 when the tier set was procced from consuming SD. I could display another icon for SD to track that separately, but that adds clutter to the screen when I can just as easily overlay that information on the icon which was already present and will be affected

A similar concept with SD could apply for slayer since it gets Imminent Demise from consuming SD - there's no need to add an icon showing that you have SD when you can just communicate that via the execute icon itself

If you tested in live you'd be missing the glows since they only apply when a hero tree is selected. Those are probably the biggest part of the aura and what the entirety of the custom Lua code is for (check the fury spec loader aura trigger and core aura custom init). Personally I don't want to be looking at icons at all, and definitely not for text on those icons. My goal was to make almost every decision you need to make available from the corner of your eye so you don't spend any time looking away from what's important.

For SD I wouldn't even track the proc, the information is present by virtue of the execute icon showing as usable.

Fair enough - I think there's probably some kind of good middle ground between visual noise and having stuff like the text overlay (which I don't think really takes your eyes off your character personally) but to each their own. That's why I think it's a good idea for people to make their own UIs 🙂 It's also very possible that the glow conditions are that good middle ground, but I can't test those without beta access so unlucky

SD wasn't the best example but things like color-coded glow conditions or icon recolors could capture a similar thing. I'm planning on doing a similar thing for frostfire mage where I add a colored glow condition for phoenix flames/LB when I have the excess frost and fire buffs. I think that fits both of our preferences of not adding visual noise, but you can see in your periphery whether the icon is glowing/shaded blue or green or whatever

you can also choose standalone verison of curseforge (but this cant do elvui). also you need to have weakaura companion for updating weakauras /plater mods.. but there is the wago app currently in delevopment/ beta .. that can handle all 3 and more 🙂
save your WTF and addon folder and maybe even screenshots folder or even your other personal incase youre delething those storages too on a clean install

Yeah, thats exactly what I was looking for, thanks! I only was able to test if for 15 or so minutes, I noticed that with back-to-back EB resets, the sound won't play the second time. Not sure if that is a result of sounds trying to play too close together or a logic error. Even if that never gets addressed, this is still great!

Just found this WA to help track Heroic Strike usage, you need to configure it though because by default it targets the button 8 on your bar, I use it as Arms so I don't know if it works in other spec, anyways hope this helps somebody 🙂

I built my own WA for this issue. A sound is built in for shield block and ignore pain (<2 sec). The WA also shows some other warrior buffs. You can delete the other parts that you don't need.

Mortal wounds for example is 50% less effective

25% heal reduction instead of 50% as that would be dumb as shit in arena
