Technically here your Spear of Bastion portion is applying an "OR" conditional when I believe your intent is "AND".

It is saying "/cast [@cursor] Spear of Bastion" OR if that condition is not met, then "/cast [known: Spear of Bastion] Spear of Bastion".

For example,

/cast [@cursor] [known:Thunderous Roar] Spear of Bastion

Will still cast Spear because the first condition (@cursor) is met.

You could consolidate and simplify the macro into:

This works fine for me. If you have Spear and Thunderous Roar talents selected, it is going to prioritize using Spear because it is the first condition that is satisfied within the macro.

Some people have said that they need to reloadui after making talent changes for macro known conditionals to start working properly, but I haven't had that issue.

This happens 100% of the time for me. If you tell the trigger that checks for the nameplate's target every 0.2 seconds, it'll quickly dismiss the WA if it isn't you. However, if you want to use an audio queue (like I'd like to) it's still falsely triggering the audio in the first 0.2 seconds of the weakaura. What's happening is that there is a delay with the nameplates to update the target info of a spell, so for the first split second of a cast it's triggering as if the spell is being cast on the tank.

When I open /wa the wa dissappears and is not listed, and is nowhere in my wa packs. When I close wa it reappears over my chatbox again. Click the little eye toggle next to 'Loaded' and 'Not Loaded' to make all of your WAs visible, then you'll be able to click the WA and see where it is. What's likely happened is you've dragged it into a group and it's hiding.

Not quite what I mean and is already what i'm doing. That works for dungeons kinda because of how short fights are, but it's still the dps for that specific fight from start to finish. What I want is a moment by moment update, with like 3-5 second delay.

Scenario for context: on dathea your normal rotation damage is ~50k. On the add phase, you spike to 150k. But because your damage is normally 50k, details will show it as ~70-90k. I want a dps window that shows the full 150k spike. Recount used to do it but idk if they still do cuz I'm using details now, so I"m wondering if details can do it too.

It's just annoying to have to review logs after raiding to see this when it's 100% possible to see it in real time, somehow

You can set sounds on any weakaura you import, really. For example I have a sound notification when my whirlwind stack is at 1 and when recklessness is off cooldown.

I macro a lot of my abilities as well. E.g Pummel is F and Storm Bolt is Shift + F. Not on my bars, just a modifier in a macro.

Trying to upload my own logs for the first time and it's just not taking. Combat logging turned on, got files, type the name and try to upload, clicking go does nothing. Tried closing wow/restarting, also no dice. Any ideas what could be interfering?

Once combat log is on you need to do a M+ or a raid boss for it to be able to be uploaded.

in Wcl aplication there are 3 options "live log" that needs to be active before you start doing M+ or raid bosses that will activly post those logs to Wcl website

upload log. were any content you did in that instance of wow will be uploaded. once you close wow and open it again it will create a new Txt file.

Few issues i can think of

Did you do any raidbosses / M+ while combat log was turned on.

did you choose upload log or live log? and did you choose the right txt file inside the wcl application?

If it doesn't do anything after selecting "Go", I would verify you're in the right directory, on the right version of the game in the application(drop down menu on the top right) and have an updated version of the uploader.

font wise its fairly easy to import new ones that are better for visibility

especially in the elvui discord many people share setups with lots of font work done maybe some of those work for you

hey guys can some1 with knowledge about weakauras help me rq? Im currently setting up all the weakauras and such for my arms warrior, and i want to setup a weakaura for Rend. Like, both the buttons of Rend and Thunder Clap in my bars should glow whenever my current target does not have an active rend debuff from me on him. But unfortunately i dont know how to do that stuff with weakauras. I can only make it glow when they have it on them, but not if they have not.

i tested it out and it works pretty well. it also has a sweeping strikes helper in place of the fury whirlwind one

here's how it works for arms currently, but its really only "optimized" in any sense for the raid single target/2t cleave build

bonegrinder / heavy cleave / m+ arms i dont really play so it wasnt high up my list, but i'll do that next

on this note though it might be a little difficult to do this in any conditional / prio focused sense. im trying to not make so many weakauras for this that i've rebuilt hekili/hero from the ground up

any build or class has a lot of conditional choices will make this kinda hard to work, but fury and at least ST arms are dead simple rotationally, and can pretty much be played by just hitting the buttons as they light up

which makes this kind of WA work very well for them

so long as you have your prio order in place, which i've done by just ordering them that way

obviously this still isn't going to teach you how to play the game, but at least for me it helps me keep the focus on what im doing and off my bars, and after a few hours you can catch the colors in your peripherals and dont even need to really look at them at all

I seen someone have it in their stream once upon a time where at the end of each boss fight or it may have been the entire dungeon a ranking screen pops up. What is displayed is something identical to a halo scoreboard at the end of each fight ranking each character with a tally of stats to ultimately have a place of 1st, 2nd, or 3rd etc. anyone have any idea what that is???

I changed a bunch of things last night. Got rid of the chat window. Made my action bars like half the size. Moved details to the right side and made it smaller. The event timer weakaura is mainly for when I’m doing stuff outside of raids/m+. It hides when I’m in an instance. I use zygor for the farming routes and what not, and the mini map button is an add on that combines all of the buttons into one instead of having a bunch lol. I really appreciate all of the feedback, I’ll post an updated screenshot when I log on today.

I also never noticed the combat text was in front of the nameplates, and now I hate it. So I went back to the blizzard style lol
