but in all honesty you really dont want to get in the habit of hekili. it will give you more negative output than positive. it doesnt take into account holding for cds to line up or holding for high prio damage phases. after the opener it pretty much just says to blow everything as it comes off cd

I don't really think that any of the major options are meaningfully better or worse than the other. It comes down to what works for you.

As long as you have the important cooldowns/durations/procs/etc displayed in a central location, which all of the major packs do, you're in good shape.

Fairly sure that is just omnicd. You can set it up under: Extra Bars, and select "Crowd Control" under spell type, then go to "Spells" and select wich Crowd control spells you want to track. If its a weakaura then its likely Zentracker?

Yes, though it can require a little bit of work. So with packs like that there are typically a lot more abilities for that group, but they only load if you have the talent for it/are in that spec.

If you want to to show other abilities in that weak aura group you can either duplicate and customize it to the ability you want (while making sure to change loading settings too) or scavenge the pre-existing ones from other sub groups in the overall WA pack and move it to that group (changing size settings to match the others).

It's all pretty easy just takes a little fiddling around with it if you're comfortable using WA

I will say that nameplate addons are generally less useful in raids than they are in M+ outside of super chaotic add-heavy fights

But in M+, it's a huge deal

The big thing with Plater, IMO, is to make sure that you have a profile that provides color coding for mobs based on what they should do. I think some profiles overdo this with like ten different colors and it gets too chaotic to keep track of, but something like using one color for mobs with high priority interrupts, one for mobs that need to be interrupted via stuns/CC, one for frontals, and one for purges is a good start.

Hi - I'm trying to see if I can replicate what ElvUI does with an addon - in the screenshot attached - they are bars above the player / boss that tracks certain buffs / debuffs (Trying to track rend / Test of might / bonegrinder etc etc)

It is really easy to tweak the standard shield block tracker WA. Just set it to play a sound on fade. Mine plays the "idiot" line. I also have the IP WA set to play the sonar ping sound when it fades, which gets a little nuts at times with the set bonus if I am getting hit rapidly and haven't actively cast ignore pain for a sec, but that's a good reminder to increase it since that means IP is low and I need to actively cast it to get it higher than a few k.

Anyone got a WA that can tell you if your engi cr was a success? I cant see a ress icon on the party frames even if it succeeded. But i do see if someone gets a normal bress.

Really annoying as if it fails, you can still recast(haven't had a fail yet though, except for getting a slow debuff even if the ress succeeded, but only used it a handful of times).

Anyone know if there is a mod/script for plater, that treats tank as dps/healer and doesnt change colour to "no aggro"-colour in pvp (world/bg), cus it decides that if I enter combat with a player it should be a npc and just change the colour, without healthbar colour being checked(for threat), as well as with, works fine in arena.
And yes, use class colours are checked in enemy players, as said, works in Arena, just not world/bg.

Noticed game performance gets worse over time? 10.0.5 introduced a pretty nasty memory leak in the UI code. It doesn’t seem to be reclaiming memory correctly (garbage collect), especially in blizzards own frames. Your UI might suck up 2+ gigs of memory within 30 minutes

Does anyone know how to create a WA that plays a tick sound for every GCD? I like to play with sounds off because my ADD Fury brain gets distracted overwhelmed by it all, but I love having a metronome or other audible feedback each time I know an ability goes off

My workaround has been a trigger that activates whenever a stack of meatcleaver is changed, since fury is almost always keeping those stacks up in Mplus outside of bosses

I don't have much experience with Wow LUA api for pvp, but as far that i know GetRaidRosterInfo() only returns info for players in your raid groups since 3 are in your raidgroup and 3 are in another (enemy) raidgroup you wont get any return from the enemy raid team

So GetRaidRosterInfo() will only return about your current party
