@shadow thicket you can think of the [ ] handlers in macros as if checks; the code reads from left to right for each [ ] and what's in them; as soon as it finds one that matches, it executes it that way; so mods need to come before no mods or [] empty bracket catches

you can get around this truly by putting [nomod] which specifically will only cast it if no alt, ctrl, or shift is being held

Hm I tested the addon just now and all I see are black squares that I can't move unless I use Blizzards "Edit Mode". And as soon as I use the Edit Mode I can move stuff, but it doesn't save + once I've pressed on Edit Mode I cannot remove it and have to either "/reload" which for some reason resets everything or ALT + F4 which seems to be the only way to get out of Edit Mode :(

It's a fancy one yes, and when you import Luxthos' WA, it's going to look like a ton of information, but it's really not, and it narrows it down based on what spec you are, keeping it real simple and clean. I strongly recommend it, but then again it's subjective, so it might not be your cup of tea. Worth checking out though :)

There’s a macro that swaps between the two (maybe pinned?), and after accidentally finishing a boss in dstance, I made myself a wa that puts a large flashing icon near the middle right of my screen when it’s active. It’s pretty simple to make. Just add an icon wa, aura > player > active with the correct dstance spell id (the old id won’t work any longer), and boom, you’re done

My WA's with borders all have weird things where borders will be either weird widths, not show at all etc

Google fu has led me on the path of pixel perfect UI scaling and that for my monitor size the UI scale should be set to 71%, which it is and also just seems to be the default size w/o enabling the UI scale, yet my weakauras with a border all look jank as hell.

I was using ElvUI before swapping and it seemed to have sorted the UI scale out automatically from what I remember and never had issues there. Am I just a bit boned without ElvUI here?

I make a master WA pack that just keeps track of all my ongoing auras (attached is an old one i edited from one i saw a streamer using that i just use to build off of for other classes now), but i did it one by one originally by just going through the spellbook lol. so if anyone has a sheet of all the abilities laid out already i would just go off that instead ideally. otherwise its back to one by one through the whole talent tree i suppose!

I’ve made an IP weakaura which changes colour based on remaining absorb value so I can eyeball peripherally when to refresh. However it seems that in order to set a threshold for it to change colour I have to manually input a value (eg. >= 50k etc) I want it to show for. Is there anyway to change it to work off of % rather than a fixed amount?

Has the spell ID for improved WW changed? The WA I was using to track (from Titania's pack) still kicks in when it gets down to 2 stacks remaining, but isn't picking up the extra 2 stacks any more (which used to be from Meat Cleaver).

I tried using specifically Improved Whirlwind instead of the Whirlwind it pulls from, but that didn't do it.

Take any buff tracking WA you got already, duplicate it, 85739 put this ID into the trigger field for exact spellID, make sure no special conditions or load requirements are active like a specific talent, new WA made for WW

As well go to the display tab, scroll down to text, and put in %s to track the stacks you got

Replicate this for any other buff WA you might want in the future and it should work for the vast majority of them, unless they got specific tracking requirements

With Luxthos WA you can literally make a premade aura to track enrage as an icon and put it into whichever group (I use dynamics) and it will appear like all the other buffs you track

Make a new WA, go to display and find text, type in %s, go to load tab, select aura -> buff -> player, tick specific name, type whirlwind, tick own only, show always

The trinkets you can just make a new WA, go to load, cooldown progress item, and select trinket 1/2

I slapped it on there to just be aware, but I'll definitely consider moving it to another row.
The glows, at least on Prot, I don't think are too much. SS glows cause you should hit, the others glow while active but stop when they no longer are.

There are more glows on the fury spec for sure which I could probably reduce.

I don't really know how macros work. Is it possible to macro Stoneform(dwarf racial) and bitter immunity onto the same button so I don't have to make separate keybinds? Something like where I could click it once and use stoneform and click it again and use bitter immunity?

you can use a cast sequence macro

something like uh /castsequence reset=60 stoneform; bitter immunity may need to adjust the reset, it'll reset 60 seconds after the button is pressed, so if you hit it once it'll do stoneform and if you hit it again within 60 seconds it'll do bitter immunity
