yeah, I did it couple of weeks ago and can confirm. And yeah you do seem to need the rep, I did it a couple times without rep and got nothing, then after exalted got everything in 2 weeks. Might just have been unlucky tho.

I think that is honestly part of the reason for myself at least wanting the OG. It has a good color scheme and the mog itself looks nice, Legion recolors were ass booty cheeks. Bringing the same set back = guaranteed it looks good. Recolor is 50/50

i think blizzard's stance is similar to ours. as evidence by current mage tower giving a recolor of tomb of sargeras set, and a recolor of mage tower manbear. also in legion they reskinned the CM sets and also purposefully gimped some of the models. the warrior shoudlers are missing the horned part, the warlock helmet has shorter horns, etc

those would be very difficult on a technical level, because the UV of the character models (other than the face) is only half of the character. basically they only texture half of the character and mirror it. thats why all the tabard icons are always mirrored and shit
so you could have the 3d parts only show on one side and it would be easy, but to make the textures also only appear on one side would actually take a fuck ton of technical work to achieve

Fully solo we don't have the burst for it, you can eventually seperate 2 of the bosses for enough time to hit them, but not kill them, and even then it's gamble, not possible reliably as of now to my knowledge

i have the LFR boots/gloves equipped, the normal belt being equipped will override the boots/gloves, and the chest will override it again provided you have the full set. here i do not have mythic so it won't override everything, but the other two will.
