but yeah, in the end I think these are the main changes I would make if I was in charge of WoW

• get rid of FOMO, no matter what it is
• have all content scale to it's correct difficulty, no matter how old it is
• always have a deterministic way to get cosmetics, maybe make an actual "transmog run" difficulty, that is soloable but with actual mechanics in there that drops a single mog from that raid that you don't have at the end
  that way, you COULD get all mogs out of a raid for all difficulties, but it's gonna take A WHILE

I think the transmog run solo experience might be the most fun for collectors even

the least that blizz could do is make rings/trinkets/relics not drop anymore in legacy content

they could work from SL to BFA to Legion and even further back and just remake the old expansions into a consistent questing experience, where you have to play through the main story of every expansion, including patches (and prepatches), dungeons and raids (those could have a solo story mode)

and once they remade all that content, that's the new player experience, it works in FF14, it could work in WoW imo

but at that point they could just close down current WoW
and start a WoW remake from scratch with a new engine, where they actually follow all of these principles
that would also allow them to finally make player housing, since that's only not happening because the engine doesn't allow for it right now

they could even make up some bs story reason that wow ends and restarts
something like:
the void outplayed us, everything is lost, but the last quest is chromie "sending our souls back in time" (without memories, so the story doesn't change)

you join the group, then... before you kill Garosh, you leave the group, you´ll have 1 minute before they port you out of the raid. By leaving the group you ensure that your toon parked at SW remains with the lockout intact and you can do that over and over

one trick

to save some time

before you enter Garosh room, don´t kill the last group of purple things ( I don´t remember their name lol) pull them till they reach the boss, Garosh will despawn instantly and save you a couple of minutes (worthless dialogue between Gar and Thrall), then he´ll spawn ready to attack. If you do this like hundreds of times it will save you a lot of time, trust me

You'll get a message of a howl goes thru the cave or something then you know the shield is there. Took me 37 consecutive tries before it spawned. Now it's my go to for any dragon soul or fire lands sets I enjoy trans moging.

It's weird how the mythic versions are... worse, color wise.

dragonflight is themed around the primalists inside their primalist controlled areas

we are literally looting their warriors and mages to gear ourselves with their gear
