HFA: Fury
Iron reaver: Fury unless your raid has high dps to burst boss way before air phase, then arms.
Kormrok: Fury (spin 2 win on hands)
HFHC: Arms (initial cleave + 3 execute phases)
Kilrogg: If you dont go vision fury is better, if you go vision early fury is also good, if you go vision at execute phase arms is better.
Gorefiend: If you are not killing souls outside I imagine fury might be better. Not sure on this one tbh.
Iskar: Fury (Spin 2 win those adds make mommy proud)
Zakuun: If your guild has high burst go arms, if not go fury.
Xhul: Arms (Majority of fight has cleave, and once the cleave goes away its execute time)
Socrethar: If your raid has high dps and socrethar dies fast, arms is better, if not fury might be your best choice.
Tyrant: Arms (cleave for days + INSANE execute phase)
Manno: Fury
Archi: Arms (idk how well fury is for mythic archi, I imagine will all the executies and shit that you can get off through the fight, and the need to burn archi in last phase that arms is the best though)

Ej's list is pretty solid, there are a few fights that are flexible between arms and fury, depends on what your raid needs. I was fury for my mythic xhul kills just so I could spin to win every time imps came out. same with mannoroth. and arms is definitely better for archimonde, the synergy with executes on doomfires, deathcallers, and sources give a huge dps increase of used correctly with CS and sweeping strikes. also I'm an arms slut and prefer arms on HFA ๐

Well, the big thing with warriors this xpac, is they balanced our DPS around exe phase, which is a huge mistake because it devalues the class as bosses die faster.
In Legion so far execute is just a bonus to the dps.

@marble dragon rend costs 5 rage so over using it is a rage loss. As far as I am aware you can use it briefly before the DoT expires and still get the final increased tick even tho the debuff technically never fell off.

@broken sapphire most fights you play arms on in HFC, you don't take bladestorm. if you're playing the optimal spec on most fights, fury is the spec that is better with bladestorm. it's not so strong as arms since it doesn't scale with your stats very well, while fury has recklessness for every bladestorm and it scales with their mastery.

Expect to switch, leveling your second item will become exponentially easier after you reach max level and increase your artifact knowledge level(higher levels increase the amount of artifact power that you're rewarded).

Fun math. Currently you get 35 artifact power for the first normal random dungeon you do per day. If you wanted to cap your artifact power by doing 1 normal dungeon every day you would have to do that for around 497 thousand days

I feel like everyone ignores artifact knowledge when talking about AP requirements. It makes it sound like Blizz is just adding a stupidly ridiculious grind to the game when in reality it is much more reasonable. (For those that don't know, artifact knowledge is something you can research in your class hall several times increasing your artifact knowledge level. Each level will increase the amount of artifact power you receive from all sources of AP by a perventage.)

Everyone does not ignore AK. If this is in response to @grizzled garden 's comments, he was simply providing satire. We know that this is more than just a grind, this is an added mechanic to make each activity (dungeon, raid, world quests, CH quests) mean something more, and provide an additional goal to achieve.

Victory Rush is a pretty good burst heal while leveling. And second wind heals you up within seconds of it proccing
i think Fury's healing is better early on because mobs don't die as fast
but once Arms starts 3 shotting mobs it becomes a wash
