no, you cannot track combat information any more unless it's in the Cooldown Manager
the only exception is Retribution Paladin, who has a spell that replaces their autoattack, so you can indirectly track their swing timer thanks to tracking a Spell (technically). It's very weird and i wish they'd give it back for Arms warrior too.

Funnel basically means you do more damage to a single target if there are multiple targets around you.
For example:
- If you only have one target and cast Heroic Strike on it you'll do 100 damage.
- If you have 5 targets, your talents amplify your damage, making the Heroic Strike actually deal like 150 damage instead.

it's specifically one called Fervor of Battle.
Any time you hit 3+ targets at once with Cleave, it makes you cast a Slam at your primary target AND it makes that slam do 50% more damage.
This applies to heroic strike, since it's technically slam.
So in one button press you're doing Cleave + 50% Buffed Heroic Strike (if its up), and it can be affected by Sweeping Strikes.
So by hitting multiple targets, you do more single target.

The playstyle is different for both,
I stick with slayer, since i never fall below 70k ST and my aoe is decent between 15-200k ( could do way more if i had a team, pugs fail alot)
But you need to understand how to play it. Dont make the same mistakes I did..

Coming from fury, you're probably better off going Slayer to start. You can keep going all the way up to whatever your M+ goals are with Slayer.
Colossus take a bit more crit. Coming from fury you might not have that. My personal preference is Colossus for weekly keys cause my overall damage at end of dungeon is higher.
When pushing serious keys, Slayer has more funnel and practical damage.
