Gaze sims low for me as well so I haven't been gunning for it. You could try a longer fight to see if you get a different result. I imagine proc rates and sim length can have weird interactions at times

your sims will include this but generally reck pot is good if it procs crit and less good if it procs haste, so if you have more haste than crit when potting LP is probably better (you can do some cancel aura stuff for haste buffs but just use LP at that point)

So you need to be flexible
If you think you can use up most of that CS duration hitting multiple targets sure try the hold. But if your holding just for the adds to die in 3 seconds it's not worth as you are losing CDR and CS casts throughout the fight

both are very good and you can play whichever one you find more fun. Any kind of min maxing of this is better for this dung pretty pointless. Only thing that matters if you are actually trying to decide between the two is if you are gonna get funnel on bosses or not. If you are guaranteed funnel on multiple bosses you can colo if not just play slarms in everything

If you're playing Slayer, during Execute phase, you should only use Mortal Strike if you have 2x Executioner's Precisions stacks and one the following is true:
- You have Martial Prowess (MP) talented
- If you don't have MP talented, wait for CS to be applied.
- OR if you have Battlelord talented, wait for CS to be applied.
Or a simpler way of thinking about it:

you can heroic leap back onto the platform but it's a tight window.
I dont think you can dodge being grabbed though.
if you're an absolute Gamer™ you could pre-position on the edge then leap back on immediately and get back to pumping, but that's a bit of downtime still (and a chance you just get deleted if you miss the jump

yes, but you wanna be cautious with it
Avatar is off the GCD, meaning it can be cast at any time, just like trinkets, potions, racials, etc so it's possible
i'd avoid macroing Avatar to something like Colossus Smash, for example, because there are times you want to CS but not Avatar (in M+ on a tiny pack when the next pack is huge, for example)
