You can burst crazy high, but if your team can't kill the pack quickly your numbers for that pull will rapidly diminish

It is just much more balanced imo. You do damage on both aoe and ST. And it is not like AoE is miserable, just in line with most other classes I think, but now you're actually doing boss damage and if other DPS are laking you still can time the key by making a difference on both bosses and trash.
