I think it works diff now. Doesn't have a rage cost, just means if you don't take 92k raw damage over the 12 seconds you're not blocking the full amount possible

But from a throughput standpoint, if you're pulling like 7k in st from rend and deep wounds, the HPS is ~6k per second. IP will come out to just the 50k/20 -> 2.5k/s

and the throughput of FBV skyrockets in AoE where rend and DW do way more

So from that perspective FBV just outclasses it

I think the argument for IP would have to be for when a mechanic is going to kill you and you need immediate throughput to not die, but in that situation 50k hp is normally not going to cut it anyways

I solved the issue

The main reason is that Arms is currently in a bit of an awkward spot imo, so I should have been running a fully optimized AoE build instead, as you guys said, since I would be buttom feeder cause of the damn mobs dying so fast...

I compared logs and matched myself (0 parses) against the top warrior (100 parses). He was running a completely different build.

Going forward, I’ll review his/others logs before each mythic boss fight and adjust my talents to fit the specific encounter. That should make everything perform better. just wanted to share. here is a comparrasnt log compairng my logs to that of the top warr if anyone was interested from my findings.

I feel like M+ I manage to keep up with damage with other classes in 10+ Keys with the colossus arms build - but the single target on both Fury Slayer and Arms Slayer seems 35-45% below the rest in raids. I could also be that I suck and I know my Mythic+ rotation a lot more.

i was in the same situation as you and most of these got me to around 800 crit and with consumables i get to 1.1 easy
rest of my gear is fury centered but with these adjustments i got to a confortable point

and voracius hero trinket and gaze hero aswell
as for the other trinket, if you dont have gaze, the yellow prism from skyreach or the crucible (with all 3 effects unlocked)

Both are fine, it's honestly more preference than performance
Fury is good too, and maybe can outperform slayer arms in keys but if fury does outperform slayer then likely Col would be just fine
