from what I can see you're doing the rotation correctly for the big packs. When it comes to high overalls, a lot of it is how the tank pulls, and how fast the rest of the group can finish the pack. Looking over your key logs versus others, it seems like the tank took a while between packs and caused downtime, and pulled a few smaller packs.
- in-game meters that have massive overalls are tanks pulling giga big, then groups deleting them (snapshotting the dps to look super high). The dps is calculated as an average at the end of every combat pull.
- Logs with massive overalls are when tanks have very limited downtime (since dps is calculated across the entire duration of the key, regardless of combat uptime)

because in Execute phase your other abilities hit a lot harder too. Mortal Strike does a shitload of damage with its 2x EP stacks, and if you get a HS off first it makes it do even more.

Boss damage is lacking, but we're a funnel class now. If you're doing big keys, pull trash onto the boss to let Arms do more single target indirectly. Both Colossus and Slayer have timed +19s with room to spare, so it doesn't matter.

Heroic Strike gives you a buff that lets you bypass a portion of the target's armor. During execute phase, almost all of your abilities start hitting like dumptrucks, so bypassing that armor makes them hit even harder. You also dont want to miss out on procs, so you consume them early so you can get back to pumping the big spells

It's very viable in all content. The only thing you really need to be aware of is that we do pretty low Single Target damage inside of M+, but our AoE more than makes up for that 👍

You deal more single target damage if you have more mobs around you.
So you can pick the big beefy guy in the pack and just AoE around you while killing that one target faster

Honestly i dont even think about it. Pretty sure we dont have caps and it just has damage falloff after a certain amount (like 8 for bladestorm, i dont remember if Cleave has one). But genuinely not something to worry about for Arms tbh.
