swapping to fury is free if you really think balance like this matters for your team (it doesn't for 99% of players). This isn't uncommon for arms to see, and we usually get retuned after a bit. This is just how WoW is.
but yes, i agree arms is in a very strange spot and it doesn't make much sense. I highly encourage folks share their feedback with Blizz, but don't go breaking the Player Agreement over it

well, I got DH, Druid, DK, and Warr all geared up ready to tank depending on the random nerf bats. 🙂 BUT. Into the patch, raw dps or "control" (DH) matter more than raw survivability. START of an expansion, while gear is more borderline, survivability is relatively more important, and war tends to be best survivor with lower gear.

Usually fury will be more strong in the survival department thanks to their 2x 2Handed weapons (bonus stamina) and passive healing from bloodthirst

It did not work for them. Tuning notes came out the same day. They were already planned to get buffs. All the strike did was make ret players a laughing stock for doing it.

The reactions people are having is after testing the spec on beta with mythic gear and full tier bonus. This spec is dead in the water come midnight if they don't make some pretty drastic philosophical changes to arms

Single target for arms has never seems this bad interms of numbers so close to a patch
We're used to being like 5-10% below the best leading up to launch but it's easily 25-30% behind the best right now. Tunings still shit both at the top end and bottom end
