Im currently playing fury but wanted to switch to arms for singletarget bosses. Raidbot is simming me with 100k more singletarget damage but i dont do that on the target dummies... I do about the same with fury and arms but the execute phase is missing on dummies will i gain the 100k on execute phases for bosses?

in st jugg slayer does more damage yes, up to 100k more dps, but in aoe colossus outperforms slayer by a lot
overall damage in m+ higher in colossus and survivability is better so its a clear winner for me idk

Hello, i'm currently in the process of picking my alts for the xpac, was eyeing at my vulp arms warrior, I've wanted to ask the community how does arms warrior feels to play (i'm asking purely rotation wise, not number wise), and content creators related to the spec :)
Is war arms still a bit "weird" to play with layering a lot of cooldowns that seems anti-synergy between them (like warbreaker+thunderous roar+ravager) or was the burst windows smoothed out?

arms is a bit clunky but it can have some big numbers and being in execute phase makes your brain feel good

I'd say they have a low skill floor, but some specs have a high skill ceiling

We (by "'we" i mean Whispyr, sin rogue main theorycrafter) ran the tests and did the log analysis
in a key with absolutly 0 restealth, we lose 10% dps overall
yes on paper it's like, a very big number
but this number only affect the rogue, and what does it actually means is less downtime, leading to more chance to time the key
and that's where we can absolutly never restealth, from the moment the key starts to the end of the timer

I've been playing sin in keys since M+ are a thing and we never had enough damage amps from stealth to justify restealthing every single pack
just l2p and learn to vanish properly if the tank is chainpulling into something big
chainpulling is more an inconvenience for sin rogues because we think we lose a lot, when actually the damage amps on garrote are only huge in a vacuum, not over the course of a whole dungeon
the real downside is the loss of iron wire, which is a 6 seconds silence you can cleave when you leave stealth
but we have a solution to this issue, it's called Vanish

you rupture/garrote the biggest healthbar, mut then apply ruptures on as many targets as possible for Scent of Blood

you don't want to garrote everything in the pack, it doesn't benefit you outside of cleaving it when you leave stealth thanks to Indiscriminate Carnage, Rupture and Crimson Tempest does the heavy lifting in aoe
Slayer jugg is probably the build i recommend the least tbh (assuming you are not pushing high keys)

yeah but what i mean is in an opener on a new pack stealth vs restealth you got something like this: 2x garrote-> 2x rupture->fan->ct->spam envenoms vs 5x fan rupture ->fan -> ct-> spam envenoms. Not only do you lose the garrote damage but it takes 3 more finishers to set up. That is 3 envenoms you could have pumped into main target

You have to keep in mind sin rogue is slow paced, you have low APM unless you have a reason to spam your buttons, such as kingsbane rolling or in a shiv window
sbs without restealth makes it fastER not necessarily fast, and you want as many envenoms in because that way you get the most spatter damage which is 40% of your dps
ill run a sim for 2/2 ct in a minute

Because you have enough rage spenders already for Tactician to be a proc fest and Fueled by Violence is free heal for just pressing your buttons
if you want to play with a lot of exec, keep massacre/ep but take jugg
swap one point from bloodborne to ep
and this will be a standart slayer jugg m+ build
which kinda works
and the only viable slayer build in keys
you don't really need 2/2 bloodborne
its a good talent but theres no room for it in slayer
bloodborne is good damage but to have it 2/2 you have to sacrifice a lot
i run 1/2 on colossus just so i can go 2/2 on deft
no reason to try to squeeze aoe talents in slayer
if you want aoe
go colossus
its does it 2 times better
well you can argue that slayer with some aoe picks is still better for higher keys as it deals better with prio targets
also i prefer skullsplitter over sudden death
and bosses
because one can be controlled, the other can't
theres no build in slayer that will outperform colossus in aoe

it is that kinda, its slow but it has nice millions in numbers, its just that half of talents are useless and other half are required to make the spec work
UH is very chaotic in its burst and pimple popping at times, on paper arms is very simple
i believe roar nerf is close to nothing for arms
oh, I know, I play a lot of specs that suffer from those issues
the good talents are locked behind very bad ones, so you feel starved in talent points/have way less flexibility
like 0.5% dmg loss on 8 targets who cares
The roar nerf will affect Arms more so than Fury, because Arms is more bleeds synergetic
main strength of roar in arms its 30% bleed dmg boost which is unchanged
And keep in mind that it's not just the initial hit that gets nerfed, also the dot
but if you want a warrior that swings a sword in a wide arc, crits for few mils while ravager is up, its awesome

if you're running 10's, your build shouldn't change. Also with the weekly affix, juggernaut makes sense since you can execute to your hearts content on the add spawn

So I have 11k Haste and 7k crit, and reading our guides, crit is supposed to be our number 1 stat, but every sim I am running is showing that I should switch to heavier haste gear of the same ilvl, or occasionally slightly lower ilvl for something that has haste vs crit (Like a 600 haste piece vs a 603 crit piece). I feel like I am getting crossed wires on my sims vs what guides say. Is crit that much worse?

it does if you sim with multiple targets that die (dungeon slice, hac, beastlord, etc)
for fights with a lot of adds as Arms, I'd probably lean into SkarShard, since more of its damage is sustained rather than concentrated burst
for Fury, it's more 50/50, but I think Mark is actually slightly better in most situations, given how high its damage spikes compared to how low it falls after CDs

Is there any knowledge regarding the "Befouler's Syringe"? I have an iLvl 619 one and my vault just gave me a weapon that I can upgrade to the same level. Today I was reading some comments on the topic of the Syringe saying it's marginally better on Single Target but severly hampers AoE and a lot of raids have some sort of adds involved. In addition, someone mentioned the sims are bugged regarding the Syringe procs so double checking here to make sure.
syringe is an agi weapon so you're missing a lot of strength, wouldn't use it unless it's a massive weapon damage upgrade but always sim

For fury, it was better than a comparable ilvl weapon for ST and about equal for MT. Lost in sims for higher ilvl weapons.
Not simmed it for Arms or vs crafted but assume itโs the same otherwise.
