Ideally they should line up within a couple sec of each other if you’re spending rage correctly. I have held cs for a couple sec until avatar is back but if avatar is 30 sec or more away I will send cs. It may be suboptimal to a high mythic raid parser, so take what I say with a grain of salt

Things change all the time. Our rotation is more like a priority list. A lot of variables in fights. Knowing when phases are coming so you don’t pop your CDs right before, what content you’re running m+ raid etc

Okay so at a quick glance my character is at ilevel 580 with roughly 45k armor and 44k strength.

So swapping to earthen would give me a whopping +450 strength.

I will always recommend just looking at the guide, go to a dummy, practice the rotation for a while, then go do a dungeon to try it out in practice

simming dungeons is an inaccurate science to begin with, but the current content is Heroic yes. so you're inflating numbers heavily since everything dies during the burst window

that's what was meant by the "jank" statement, it's hard to accurately sim for, but DungeonSlice is "good enough", it gets you a rough look at how things might go

other folks might do variations of sims atop it, then make a decision based on multiple, different tests, kinda feel it out, it's weird
