In single target it's not very good (we love haste in single target, and the trinket takes it away from us while its burnt out). On AoE it's strongly middle-of-the-pack and there is far better options that are farmable, even at lower ilvl

i think it's better for other classes, but having the trinket become a dead slot for 60 seconds hurts Arms pretty hard

dead being, it's a trinket with no mainstat and (900 haste) and 50% of its active wear-time is going to be spent in a "burnt-out" state, where it detracts that 900 haste, so it becomes a trinket that gives you zero value outside of its burst window 😕

the axe isn't required to play arms by any means. Yes, it's one of the single largest upgrades you can get, but you can perform just fine without it and still learn the spec, parse, and do high keys without it. There technically is a chance for you to get the axe earlier, it does happen for people, but if it's causing you anguish I would refocus on just learning Arms itself and just buy/acquire Ashkandur instead.

We're reaching the point of bullion saturation (running out of pieces to buy) in the coming weeks, so even if you do get lucky and the axe drops you'll be able to upgrade it by the end of the season more than likely.

If my dungeon slice sims say that this sims the highest for my gear, should I follow everything it says, even with the gems it's saying I should use? My only problem is that this makes my crit at 36%, haste at 39%, and mastery at 41% because it says that I need to replace all my gems slots with haste vers gems, but I know that our BIS stats are Crit and Hast.

Otherwise it would be auggie, spriest, or ww monk instead of the auggie for the melee dmg.

Does brewmaster apply the melee debuff? If it does id say brewmaster, r druid for the vers. U, spriest for the pi and auggie would probably give u the highest dmg from all the buffs.

If that was the case you'd simply take an aug. But if you're unable to utilize an augs buffs fully, you'll simply lack damage. A destro lock more or less has 50% higher utility for aug buffs over a warrior last time I compared.

You would simply take the aug in most cases. Warrior has on command defensive stance

DBTS too, ignore pain and defensive stance is very strong.

That's what I mean, I don't feel a warrior necessarily works well with an aug. Their defensives aren't as needed and the synergy regarding CD's with ebon might isn't ideal at all.

Yeah, naturally. That's the conversation. But like I said, I feel perhaps a different class would work better in an augs spot due to the lack of synergy between a warrior and the aug. Aug brings defensives - a warrior already has them. They're wholly de-synced with their CDs as well.

The game is designed for any comp to handle things. It might not be meta but top tier players doing keys at that level will be able to do what they have to do. There are top ranked scores for every spec. I wouldnt be too worried with it but people are biased against warriors either way in pugs.

The Hybrid setup using BS and Warlord's Torment (Recklessness on Warbreaker/Colossus Smash and Avatar) is the best setup for having a mix of AoE and ST, where as the Juggernaut setup is predominantly ST and Priority damage

The Hybrid setup is the one that's typically recommended, as you don't lose a lot of ST for noticeably more AoE damage

The Juggernaut setup isn't necessarily bad either, but if you're not able to maintain Juggernaut stacks its value diminishes, and typically the increase in ST/Prio isn't necessary
