It's actually pretty bad in most aspects of Remix where scaling will either cause you to get oneshot by mechanics that you shouldn't be, or you will do unreasonable amounts of damage

Awesome. That would explain some of the differences I have seen between my simming and what top builds are running.
Follow up question because I can't tell from the various guide videos. In m+, when am I supposed to blade storm on single target fights? After/before avatar and before/after warbreaker?
I feel it's supposed to be ideally be:
thunderclap -> mortal strike (for crit proc chance) -> legendary axe -> avatar -> thunderous roar -> blade storm -> warbreaker -> whirlwind -> regular rotation. But I don't know.

Why I started with the simming question. My sim for dungeon slice says d that 1% crit was higher than 30 sec roar. And so avatar and roar has the same time and so coupling them was super convenient for button presses.

If there are any up, find a group in group finder for "frenzy rare" farming. Kill the rare with the group, then kill the surrounding mobs until it respawns (i'm not 100% sure about this, but I think killing them respawns it faster)
