• ST is always useful, since a lot of Arms damage is just secondary splash, and priority damage is still a thing in M+
• DS works fine, but it favors lower target counts rather than the mega pulls you see in some M+
• 5 or 8 target patch can help you see raw AOE, just remember that 1m sims don't mean too much because you don't have full cooldowns, hero, etc every minute

In MoP it eventually lost the rage effects and just became a heal that activated when you were below 35% health, which made Wars incredibly tanky in both PvE rot damage and PvP

and so then they nerfed it down to what it is now, with the activation window
