Assuming you're playing BS + Hurricane, you use Roar before BS, so the majority of the dot is during Hurricane, it stays the same in S4

And if you got ToM, it being during CS or ToM does not make any noticable difference, except if it's AoE like Fyrakk souls, where it would do more damage during ToM

I see, and one more question while I have you here, sometimes I find myself in a situation where warbreaker is off cd, but avatar is like 10+ seconds away. Should I just be using warbreaker and save avatar for my next warbreaker cast?

Depends on the context. If it's in a pack and the pack just got pulled, I hold WB till Avatar, since you're likely to still have the same amount of casts during that pack either way

But if you're on a boss, and it's your last Avatar use anyway, you can pop the WB and hold Avatar, assuming you still make use of the full duration of Avatar

Otherwise, the general rule of thumb is just to align CDs as much as possible without holding for an unreasonable amount of time, since you can otherwise quickly lose casts

Okay so it's about knowing if I only get one more WB cast, it's worth holding it for avatar, if the fight is less than 2 minutes left, I can use WB and wait for the next cycle to use avatar together since i only get one more avatar

It comes from experience when to use and when to hold

I don't have an exact number, but I just feely it and hold if it's at most 10 sec

Since with AM, the real CD of WB/CS is generally around 25-30 sec

I'm thinking I should be opening with Charge->Roar->Bladestorm, then using Roar on CD, and only bladestorm if Roar aligns with bladestorm. Not sure if I should be bladestorming on CD because the dungeon build has in for the kill, not test of might
