Yeah, thunder clap was hitting more things even with less casts. 23 casts, average cast damage 305k compared to your 220k cast damage, bloodpath he's getting more average per cast as well. more damage out of each cooldown window I'm guessing.

I’ve played both in my 20s I’ve done and slayer arms feels better if you have tanks that understand how to pull funnel, otherwise I prefer slayer fury when playing with pad classes like dks or dev dhs and thane when playing with phys comp with capped aoe to help compensate

I also just really like thane in seat because of the phys % dr and 8% bonus dr during the last 3 bosses and the bleed adds in the 2nd area

The space of things you could be doing wrong is theoretically infinite - if you have specific questions about rotational priority, fight timings, gear choices, etc then those can be answered a lot more easily, and the answers are more likely to be helpful

I'd recommend you read through the wowhead guide and look at vods from top players to see if there's anything you're uncertain about, and ask specific questions around those

The CDR RNG fiesta of storm is annoying, it is very feast or famine. Giving SD Slayer strikes would help, but removing unhinged (so reck isnt Alpha and omega) could be a fix. Then buff BS raw dam instead

Currently my main gripes are that Reap feels a tad too dominant in the profile and the BSCD issue. That is kinda it. Rest just works

Slayer got a lot of play at the end of TWW, and if I'm recalling correctly it plays roughly the same - it's possible Noxiv just prefers the bursty nature of Slayer

Like the only time I think you’ll overcap those stacks is in rek windows when you’re getting lucky with sd procs

Slayer generally front loads damage a lot faster than Thane, which is why it's noted as "bursty". Bladestorm AoE and culling vs Tclap and lightning strike. If high priority adds spawn and need to be cleaved / burst down as quickly as possible, the output of Slayer in a short window should be higher
