So I’ve decided to switch to fury war from monk and I checked raid parsing logs for each of the raid fights to see what talents people are using per fight. I noticed that on 7 of the 9 bosses, these fury players aren’t taking enraged regen, meaning they only have defensive stance for survivability, is this actually the play or are they just doing it for the parse?

Like I can play colossus arms, practiced in m+ for the expressed purpose of playing it on paladins and did comparable to fury overall. But having to do that incredibly upsetting rotation while also having less mitigation and having to actively mental positioning throughout the entire fight to hit multiple enemies with cleave during progression was probably the worst experience I have had as warrior for two expansions.
