What? This rotation I would say is still pretty easy. The only “difficult” part of the rotation is fitting in sudden death procs.

Depends on target count, anywhere from a couple % to more like 10%. APL will most certainly be updated, but there's not much point in spending the time doing that when there's a decent chance more changes come in the coming weeks

Its hard to tell cuz theres no ST bosses in this raid really, but using the top slayer log from Vorasius, BS did 8.85% of their damage. Keep in mind, thats also hitting the adds. 6% on boss damage. But lets even high ball and say BS does 8% of ur dam in pure ST, thats less than a 2% overall ST damage increase. Where as losing reap in ST is like a straight 8% loss

It's probably something thats better if you design the hotkeys yourself, imo I'd advise prioritising 2/3 as they're easy to press while pressing A/D (assuming you strafe with a/d), and scroll wheel up and down for ultimate comfort. R/F/C/V/T/Z/X/G are all good binds and you can pair them with either shift/alt to create more. I hope this helps a bit

Slayer is technically the best for damage that matters in raid (boss damage) but unlike previous seasons thanes ST damage is only about 2-3% behind slayers and thane is significantly less RNG with its damage and timings then slayer can be so combined with thanes better MT alot of people are playing it due to one or all of those reasons

You can do your quick-sim with on your char with Simulationcraft add-on which gives you the string to copy then paste into Raidbots website and it will tell you the optimally dps given your class, spec, talents, gear etc.

The core idea is that you can spend rage faster than you can generate it, so you want as many of those generators as possible to be high-value ones (BT, execute, TB) instead of low-value ones (TC, RB), but without wasting rage from overcapping
So if you can do one of those high-value generators without overcapping your rage, you generally should
If you can't use one of those abilities, but can rampage, that's generally better than using TC/RB, even if you're only at 80 rage

To hit it in an n=1 case, yeah. To hit it on average is much more difficult, but good rng can carry you pretty hard
That's why it's important to run multiple tests on the dummy
(also it's more practice anyways)

both in ST talents werent actually that far apart so slarms losing reap in ST hurts pretty bad and then colo just got a nice ST buff with demo. Well know more when Sims are adjusted with demo changes which might not be for a bit cuz ptr stuff.

Yes but the difference between MT and slayer in single target isn't massive

slayer is generally easier to play though so could be more ahead in practice than it is on paper

I see, I see. I'm simming just under 80k single target with slayer, but I typically hit like 60-70k in single target, and then I see the top logs hitting 100k on basically single target fights lol.. kinda wack

I did 96k on hc salhadaar as slayer yesterday and 121k on mythic as thane (but only 71k to boss)
Had a pull at 128k but we wiped to healers standing in beams gg

Yeah I'm 270 as well. I think my best parse this week on heroic was in dreamrift, and I only got an 80 ilvl parse at 76.7k, and only 39k of that dps was contributed to boss. Feels fuckin bad man lol

Try throwing your logs into wowanalyzer and see if you're making any mistakes particularly frequently
and compare your gameplay with that of people like critcake or the warriors in the RWF
try to look for differences in their rotation and decision making from what you would have done

When I break it down with the "Show Me!" button, it highlights Bloodbath most of the time - so I understand that I shouldn't be pushing BB when I have 2 TB charges, but there are a few in here that are highlighting Rampage as a mistake, but I'm not sure why it would highlight Rampage in this scenario, since it has a higher prio.
