my guides also ranked it pretty mid for that reason, so I'm not sure which guides you've seen that put it high, but I'd wager they're not accounting for practicality

On heroic it depends how quickly your raid blows up adds, but slayer is probably a pretty decent choice on all but council. On mythic you can make a case for slayer on first two but it's probably thane for everything else

it's not really halved, but yes at higher target counts the raw damage of TC outstrips the extra Avatar uptime (also consider that most actual M+ pulls eventually end)

Depends on how long the fight is, on a big aoe pack that dies fairly quickly I usually burst and spam ramp after I got some bleeds up. But there is a rotation guide on wowhead.

Been pugging dps warrior since DF s1 usually itās a combination of things. Mostly, a lot of warrior post there keys and donāt want a second warrior.
Second warrior doesnāt fit well in many players minds when it comes to synergies? This is a common thinking error over attributing raid buff stacking to mid range key success.
Third I STG players wonāt take warriors because they are warriors mains and are mad that they arenāt playing their warrior

especially during reck it's kinda low prio
between clap on cooldown, rampage to not overcap rage and bloodbath inbetween, there's basically no chance to press execute

Yeah, itās kinda a balanci n act between bloodthirst and ramapage/upgraded thunderclap.
You want to press BTBB as much as possible and you want to enable that with modifiers as much as possible. Since rampage increases strength, you need to press both
Raging blow and execute are filler and low priority

If the fight goes really long, like a standard heroic raid prog fights, Iām sure thatās probably the best practice. But rampage takes some time to ramp up. BB and BT are big dmg now. You want to be pressing them as much as possible as possible during cds even if it munches rage in quick 2-3minute fights

if you are having issues on big pulls go sim yourself above 6 targets and learn the rotation during cds

but in skyreach there arent many such pulls so i asume you are messing up 5 targets and less
you can sim that aswell and compared it to what you know ur rotation should be

Going a step further, final boss of seat, has a dmg amp. If your group is saving lust/potions, cds for it, Iāll literally press BT then rampage, wait the .3sec gcd then BT/BB again, rather than queuing into a second rampage.

sims dont wait, what you're seeing in sims is a burst of power proc
also unless you're going over 100% haste your bt cooldown is a direct multiple of the gcd so you're basically just wasting a full gcd by waiting

Help me please. I just switched to Fury after playing only Prot Warrior for 15 years.
Iāve realized my Fury rotation was not perfect. Should Bloodbath take priority over Rampage? I always thought Rampage should take priority. But I donāt understand why my output is so low. In raid I was 30k DPS, in mythic+ I was doing about 50k by focusing on Bloodbath. But even then, other DPS are doing well over 100K plus. What am I doing wrong?

Hard to say, but during dmg amps, and lust, it seems to lose a lot of value for me if the fight is less than 3 minutes long

just respect rotation and learn it easier by following sims on different targets so in your case the best way to learn is compare ur rotation to 1 target 2-5 and 6+@midnight mason

I tend not to use Whirlwind unless there are large mobs of adds. It didnāt seem to do much damage. Sorry. I know this is a noon question. Although Iāve been playing a long time, Iām not great with understanding these things.

If you are playing slayer, you have to ww every 4 abilities you press or you do no multi target dmg. A lot of new warriors with will lose track of the 4 count. If you play thane itās the same deal but you press thunderclap instead

you dont use whirlwind cause it does damage by itself you use it cause it makes your next 4 ability's hit multiple targets and yes its worth useing it imediatly even if there are 2 targets
