I think this is one of the things though, right? At the moment, gear is pretty low for everyone. Come 2-3 weeks and the adds on all fights will just disintergrate, which to my mind, reduces the effectiveness of Thane. Slayer is able to claw back a little more single target damage with minimal drawback.
