B) we're in the middle of a development cycle

sometimes the PTR will match the live environment, but a lot of times it won't

Thane uses OF before CDs to avoid eating Reck & Avatar buff time, since you generally want to make the most out of Apex rage reduction and Storm Surge's damage buff - most of OF's damage is backloaded, so the initial hit missing buffs isn't as impactful as you'd think

In multitarget content, using OF first also allows you to get Enrage without having to worry about precasting Clap to ensure your opening Rampage will cleave

Since Bladestorm applies the Bloodborne buff so quickly on the pull, it doesn't mind delaying OF a little bit to benefit from it, and its rotation also isn't as restricted by filling GCDs with low-cooldown clappage. In multitarget, Slayer's WW isn't nearly as powerful as Clap, so not being enraged on that first multitarget GCD isn't as important as it is for Thane

You can run it either way with minimal difference though - CD -> OF difference is extremely minor

• I also built a Thane setup that used Clap -> Rampage on the pull and delayed OF until Bloodborne was applied... which works completely fine, though it is very marginally worse and does convolute the clappage a little bit more than perhaps it needs to be (this is somewhat inevitable though, as it is quite plausible that OF comes off cooldown during Avatar at some point anyway)
• Likewise, Slayer can use OF on the pull and Whirlwind after Bladestorm to cleave its Rampage, but its also not really any better, just fitting a weaker GCD into the cooldown cycle for no inherent reason
  because of how small the differences are, I would suggest playing however is most comfortable for your brain pan to process, but since it was the same number of rotational steps either way, I decided to stick with the slightly more optimized rotations

ive done a bunch of droptimiser sims for M+ and Raid trinkets, and stuff like Kroluks Warbanner or Dragon Games Equipment are showing the largest relative gain despite being like C tier trinkets in some of the bis lists
and vice versa something like Algathar Puzzle is simming super bad but listed higher on BiS List

And raid trink shows Gaze of Alnseer as accurate to BiS list and highest, but then "Undreamt God's Oozing Vestige" as second and Heart of Ancient Huger way down at 5th

So A) am i simming incorrectly?
B) are the sims not updated fully and just go with bis sheets?

so basically the issue is that the trinket is missing melee proc flags, which is most of what Warriors do

• in game, it can still proc off of things like buff ticks, heals, etc, so you'll get some procs, but not as many as you should
• sims don't parse all of that though, since it's largely irrelevant to damage, so the uptime is significantly lower

Blizzard is already aware of the issue and its slated to be fixed, though I can't say when it will be
