It's definitely not a negative feature, but as @undone flower said, it kind of feeds itself. It's good that e.g. you can sort purely by DPS and not just "score" and "playerbase", but as you probably know, pure DPS also doesn't mean a spec is specifically amazing I keys. It can be a good factor to look at tho.

Like I personally don't use archon for its tier list, but it's aggregation of the most used talent sets for classes and specs I don't play
