Slayer is good and honestly more fun than Thane. When I say M+ is going to be tough for warriors, it’s because other DPS specs bring more utility while doing similar or higher damage. Warrior is still good and has decent utility, but that doesn’t change the fact that you probably won’t be the first pick for keys, that’s for sure

That's definitely a good point, and I think has been the case forever. I don't think that's really gonna change so it's not even something I consider as a warrior main in a guild that always has a spot in key groups BECAUSE of my damage and our friendship as guildmates.

This season I mostly solo pushed and honestly didn’t have much trouble getting into keys. It wasn’t unpleasant to play at all and I climbed pretty high. Fury was genuinely strong and brought real value in terms of DPS.
For Midnight though, what worries me the most is that there are simply specs that look straight-up better than Fury.

Hi. Wanted to ask about Fury Slayer as I'm confused now with the pre-patch changes. As fury tree makes me choose between Avatar or Bladestorm - if I'm picking Avatar, does that make Slayer useless/very bad for Fury because of 5 (at least I counted 5. I'm a warrior so im not good with counting) hero talents that won't have any effect because of lacking Bladestorm?

On multi target Clap/Blast is always prio over exec and BT/Bloodbath I suppose ? And between BT and exec which is prio on multi ?

And it’s more on single target that I’m more lost when I’ve many procs (exec, blast and bloodbath). I tend to prio Bloodbath over exec and TB and then prio exec over BT and TB.

And last one, do you sometimes prio another ability over rampage even if capped in rage or focus on trying to never over cap ?

To say why it feels clunky, first we got to define smooth. Smooth gameplay in this context is the predictable and rhythmic rodation of WW, 1234, WW. This is what people get used to and it is perceived as low friction and reliable. Clunk, would be anything that interferes with that. In a rotational sense, anything that breaks the rhythm, in the case of WW, anything that either refreshes or abnormal consumption of stacks.

As Thane got Clap instead of WW, and their rotation got procs that reset Clap, on top of avatar interaction. That rythm people are used to from the old core rotation is disrupted, it feels clunky, as the stack counter resets.

My point with that RB and SD procs, is that they dont interfere with that core rotational flow of WW, 1234, WW. It simply works within it.

This is why people often feel that clap play is more jumbled and 'messy', as many have been conditioned to the good ol' ww1234ww.

Hope this clarifies my point.

Think of if we were dancing, and we did 4 moves solo, and every 5th, we clap hands together as one. 1,2,3,4,clap 3,1,2,4,clap
The moves might change, but the clap establishes the reset.

Once you start throwing in claps, as a random move, it no longer looks the same. 1, clap, 2341, clap, 12, clap

It isnt about tracking the stacks, as much as the pattern of play WW enforces.
