In general there's no reason to hold them to pair with each other, the berserkers torment talent makes both of them activate the other as well

There are times when you might hold bladestorm briefly (5-10s) to pair it with reck and/or avatar, but that's pretty much it

Obvious exceptions being if a boss is having a damage amp soon, adds are spawning, a pack is dying in M+, that'll affect how you'll want to send/hold cds generally

Going to give you the general response. Fix these in focus order:

1. Gear, it will be the make or break of your DPS. 697 is actually extremely behind the DPS you will do in 730 gear.
2. Go and read up a guide for the basic rotation for Fury, #dps-faq got all the basics.
3. Work on the rotation, 1 step at a time. Once you understood for what reason different buttons are pressed, it will all be building muscle memory - so you can do the rotation on the fly.
4. Take your logs to #1347646810457636974, once you feel you gotten the basics down and need further assistance. Remember, basics are key, if you don't work on them first - asking will just give you the same answer: Read a guide.
5. Start minmaxing. Doing sims, reviewing logs, checking strats.

You should see jumps in DPS as you slowly learn what to do, then skyrocket once you understand why.

We want a 730 main hand weapon and a 727 crafted offhand weapon with ascension in most (not all) scenarios.
We want a 727 crafted wrist with writhing armor banding in most scenarios.
Other than that, you can legit go and grab any high ilvl pieces if possible.

Rotationally: The rotation guide is only accurate once you obtain the 4set of the current tier. Before that - don't worry too much about it, unless you want to practice. Our ST is dependant on the 2set and our aoe is dependant on the 4set. We played way differently without them. I highly recommend farming out your 4set and then coming back with rotational questions afterwards cause the difference in gameplay is kind of night and day.

Hekili is substantially better than OBR. If you don't care to actually learn the spec (which is fine, esp if you're a tank main) you can basically just set it and forget it, or you can use it as a tool to learn. Either way, I'd recommend familiarizing yourself with fight timings and using the cooldown mode toggle in Hekili, as that will help you get more out of the tool

I'd also say if you do end up liking playing fury (or whatever other spec), you should probably put in the time to learn to play them and set up your UI to track important information regardless because Hekili won't exist in a couple months

dont remember if they got rid of the xal affix that makes bosses cast faster if not dealt with so if that exists for you maybe it might mess things up but otherwise in 12s+ should work pretty much every time

u can also just aim into a purple puddle just in case you leap to early for extra insurance it might save you if ur not pulled before you land

An extension to me questioning trinkets for M+...

Why is arcanocore not represented in high keys? It is but low percentage.
For me it's simming better than sacbrood in both ST and AoE.
And it's still passive, so no dealing with stone idol

is there more to it that makes arcanocore less desirable over sacbrood?

na not rly 90% of it in m+ is just the statstick

i think with sac u bank on it more to rng a bit higher than whatever sim says, cuz i think about 2.5 ish stacks of sacbrood is about the amount of strength of a normal trinket right but if you get 3 or 4 or idk rarely even more to line up with big packs it can be better

whereas arcano just kinda does the same thing every time, and is just marginally less effective on aoe than it is on st

but like between 2 passive trinkets where one is completely budgeted into stats i.e. does no damage (not counting the mid as shit dot sacbrood does) usually has more value in aoe than flat damage or a split of stats and damage like arcanocore, more stacks of sacbrood will give you more aoe since stats are your own dmg, but the dmg proc off arcano does basically nothing as target count increases

all in all tho like they're effectively the same trinket so kinda just whatever u prefer and want to try out, with arcano being slightly more "static and reliable" and sac being pretty reliable too but with small chance of it overperforming sometimes and giving u alot of stacks

When you cast rb on an enemy with overwhelmed, you have a chance to cast reap the storm (per target hit)

its not, it increases your chance to spawn dire beasts for beast cleave AND reduces KC cd, which means more chances at BA procs....it wont make or break the spec, but it isnt negligible.

A lot of BM players dont:

• Track quiver stacks (or even realise the tier set even gives you a trackable buff)
• Use abilities in the GCD when the guaranteed black arrow proc will happen in CDs
• Munch black arrow procs because they dont press it instantly then get a proc off Autoshot OR they pressed KC for some reason

Its really easy to be pretty good at it, but quite hard not to fuck up, and you spend 2/3rds of an instance outside of your CDs where you do no damage really, so its crucial to not fuckup in the CD window.
