No, WoW puts a lot of the load on the CPU. All my 4090 does is let me have ray tracing and nicer water etc (which I turn off anyway).

The 3600 is not a great cpu for wow as wow is heavily singlethreaded and you want maximum IPC performance per core (its not very well multithreaded at all anyway), so yes, the x3d chips do superwell as the large stacked cache means more of the consistently used data is in fast on chip memory (l3 cache), meaning it doesnt need to go to RAM as often, or worse, go to the SSD/HDD

My first CE was nerubar palace and I got picked up through an m+ connection to a brand new guild and my logs were bad but I worked on it, and really elevated towards the end of S2 with a much more established guild I joined on farm. I’ve found it’s like riding a bike. You commit to it a lot and then you wake up better prepared the next day to build off the muscle memory.

Berserker stance says it only increases my auto attack damage by 15%?

While defense stance says 10% increase on all damages. which sounds so much better.

helps with viewing POVs after wipes including reviewing my own

and also helps with making kill videos since you can just download multiple POVs and smash em together

shadowplay has a bunch of failure points, loves to randomly shut itself off (like anytime you open what they consider to be a protected video), only records a default of X # of minutes, frequently corrupts or breaks on alt/tab, etc

WCR is obviously more dedicated to WoW, but that gives it a bunch of extra features like auto start/stops on pull/end, hooks into logs, records the actual length of your pull, etc

Hooks into logs sounds cool. And yeah, I had no issues with shadowplay but I only used it for grabbing a few min clips and to try nvenc as a feature. I don't think it's suitable for serious recording or streaming as it's too basic, which I guess that's why most people use OBS
