that's not really true, they do a lot of tuning aimed at M+... they just don't tend to actually change things in M+ very much

• while cleaving RB does result in more Reap damage on the main target, it's counterbalanced by casting WW every ~5 GCDs, which is a much more significant loss of ST damage
  So in reality, no - it's not really funnel because you're not getting more single target damage from hitting multiple targets than you would if you just did a ST rotation

It's always a balance of holding so you don't pull aggro with some tanks

and sometimes being 1 yard too far to actually cleave mobs in a big pull

I find brew and veangence to be the biggest culprits

There is a very weird theme i noticed from the hero talent, which is to attach abilities to specific rotational abilities.

Like reap the storm only proccing from bt, and lightning strikes only proccing off execute and RB

I really think this is making things harder than they need to be, and holding the trees back

That has pretty much nothing to do with favoring 1 ability specifically, even if reap the storm procced from exe rb and bt, it would still feel different than thane.

The main difference is that it would just make slayer better
