There's a ton you can do to improve on your own if you want, it's hard work but it will pay off. Analyzing logs is very useful but difficult if you don't know what you're looking for. My recommendation would be to watch vods of high level players like Critcake and Noxiv several times, and focus on one specific gameplay element each time. Pause between each gcd and predict what they will press next; if they press something other than what you predicted, try to identify why they did it. Try to predict where they will move to, and if they move somewhere else, try to identify why they did it. Try to predict when they use defensives, what targets they focus, etc

I used the last of my Gilded this week to upgrade my heroic Skies trinket to 710, which is inefficient but helpful for prog, especially considering that I'm unlikely to replace it or get 2 other Myth track trinkets to discount its upgrades anytime soon
- the next day, I was given Mythic tier gloves (which I didn't expect, but hey, I'm not gonna argue)
- saving those crests to put into the glove, or any other M piece I'm not going to replace, would have been a little more efficient, but it would also be less immediately impactful during the time in which it arguably matters most
but does it really matter? Next week I'll get 90 more crests; I might get something out of vault to spend them on... or I might get a socket and spend them on glove instead. I might be awarded a nice trinket from Plex or Loomi... or I might not get anything
