Should is a matter of preference, but you absolutely can and many do - as Xan said, they donāt share a consistent CD, so you wonāt always use them simultaneously (meaning you need to watch both cooldowns independently), but you can certainly use the same button for them
The only real time macroing them together would be problematic is if youād ever prefer to use one CD without using the other, which is not something we are currently concerned with

Also parse numbers really are just a metric of someone being good, you can argue all you want about āthese numbers are skewedā but looking at parses and someone putting up consistent numbers is proof of what level of play they are at. I dont mind it just being how it is now, I just hope they dont integrate into the game like they did with RIO....its supposed to be an MMO not zoomer esports thing.

Where's that latter part coming from though? I'd understand if there wasn't places for casuals, or guilds for casuals but there are and they actually out weigh the amount of hardcore guilds. Hell even the "hardcore" guilds need an influx of players. What I'm getting at without trying to type out a bunch of shit - is there isn't really any gatekeeping due to logs or io anymore, and if you are stuck at the gate, it's likely just due to a lack of effort and dedication that others have that you may not.

So Fury would be some what able to compete in M+ if all the nerfs from S1 got reverted, (target cap drop and AoE cooldowns ungutted). The spec never recovered from that.
Arms at least can hold its own, but it's still a ton of effort for medium gain compared to other classes.
Thankfully in S3 demolish doesn't cancel.

It is really not, even if those abilities were to be buffed we would still not be able to keep up in masspulls, nor would be the best class at 5-man cleave.
We ultimately just need to be soft capped to 8 or the like, or they could make meat cleaver do 100% of the dmg we do to our main target + buff the abilities you mentioned

If you press BS on AoE, you jump from 6m DPS to 6.3m DPS, sure it is a spike. But it is too small to be felt.

Being able to do huge pulls isnt a dps target cap issue. Its a mob design and or a tank/cc design issue. Limiting some people to bandaid the problem isnt good.

I more mean the aoe stops more so than hard cc like sap.
A big part of the problem is you can lock down 20 mobs for 30 seconds with the right comp. And so uncapped aoe plus mobs being locked down is why big pulls work.
If you couldnt lock down 20 mobs then target caps wouldnt matter cause tanks couldnt tank 20 mobs
