I was training on dummy and thne simming Im about 40k off the simming damage, but one thing I noticed is that in sim theres alot more raging blows compare to my dummy damage, but I had shit ton of rage to spam rampage and uptime on bloodthirst, landing my RB 4th in overal damage while RB beign top in simming.
Is that normal or Im doing something bad?

generally you only bt at like high stacks of bloodcraze from raging blow or the extra crit from tier

so usually like 2-3x the casts of raging blow as bloodthirst i'd say normally, on single target at least

Okay, so, what would you do. My GV options are either a mythic track chest, which I can catalyse next week when we get a charge to get tier, but will have to sit unused until then since i'm using 4/5 (also have mythic track gloves that are better than tier).

Or a hero track funhouse lens which i can upgrade to 6/6 right away and use immediately.

The chest is a 0.8% gain, funhouse is 0.3% (upgrading from the same trink on champ track).

I currently don't really have access to mythic gear, so it feels bad turning down mythic options. But it also feels bad not being able to use it until next catalyst charge.

Depends on the pull size. Fury warriors basically hard cap at 5 targets and do very little aoe beyond that (really our only ability that continues to give a worthwhile amount of DPS past 5 targets is thunder blast, which is entirely dependent on RNG from blood thirst) Why blizzard implemented that cap is beyond me, because not only do we have almost no utility that people want, we also can’t keep up when doing keys high enough to require huge pulls

One of my guildies sent this earlier from the DH discord which I think makes sense

We recommend doing a mix of 1 target patchwerk 5min w/ and wo/ lust, 4 targets patchwerk 5min w/ and wo/ lust, 6 targets patchwerk 40s wo/ lust, and 10 targets patchwerk 1 min w/ and wo/ lust.

Once you've run whatever combination of sims with those values you'd like, you get to have the fun of determining which sim is more valuable to you: longer single target sims are representative of dungeon/raid boss encounters, longer 4 target sims are representative of council style encounters, short 6 target sims are representative of average trash packs in dungeons (assuming all cooldowns are up), and short 10 target sims are representative of large trash pulls in dungeons (assuming all cooldowns are up).

thats actually really cool, and after going threough some stuff it is pretty clear the 2h weapon is the best slot to pick since i simmed with 4/6 chest, and when i went 6/6 hero chest it dropped about 20k in dps

is my general thought, since it feels like you die from raid aoe thats avoidable but can survive in m+
