Very important to note that this is why you have to Reck first - if you Avatar first, you don’t double it’s rage and you don’t get rage from the extra Warlords Torment Avatar proc when you press Reck

So if you Reck -> Ava -> Charge you get 20 + 20 + 40 = 80
But if you Ava -> Reck -> Charge you only get 10 + 40 = 50

It’s cause rage starts decaying immediately so if you actually use your CDs before the pull, you’ll lose one rage - this is usually recouped by an instant auto attack though

Solutions are to do something to get yourself in combat first (heroic throw), charge faster after pressing Reck, or just don’t Reck too early before the pull

Aside from eating the big bombs before they explode on the raid, right now the junkballs are important because slamming them into the boss will deal up to 2% of his health in damage, which is important to help actually beat the enrage

You want to bloodthirst before it’s over a 100% Crit chance because otherwise youre wasting stacks of the buff from raging blow

So generally you hit BT at about 85% Crit chance after spending rampage if you’re over 100 rage

see here for heroic. and this is such a small percentage difference, both at heroic max. plus that bloodmallet uses a specific profile which is not the same gear as yours. bloodmallet is a good website to check for what is generally good, stats will change things to a degree

There is a weak aura in the #updates-midnight channel you can grab to automate all the math for BT if you like and that will let you know when to send it.
To more directly answer the question rather than punt the ball to a different answer I don't actually know it looks like your 85% number is the number the aura is looking for but lower in execute for vicious contempt value. I just send bt with 3 bloodcraze stacks cause I like simplicity and that's what the guide says.

Hey guys, I'm simming and I've got a helm and belt w/ no gem, and when I sim a droptimizer it's saying those same belts and helms are a 8k dps increase but they have a gem. Can I remove those gems from the droptimizer, or is it being weird?

Raging Blow is just better before then so if you could press either Raging Blow or Bloodthirst you'd choose Raging Blow

There's a bunch of effects tacked onto RB (Slaughtering Strikes, Bloodcraze) that just make it an insanely good button to press
