can someone explain what people mean when they say using gilded crests to craft items is an in efficient use of gilded crests? doesn't it cost more gilded crests to send a vault mythic track item which starts at mythic 1/6 (the m+ ones) to 5/6 which would be equivalent ilvl to a max rank crafted piece

It’s not efficient to spend gilded crests on crafted bracers and cloak is probably what you’re seeing

You can get more total stats on your character if you spend the guilded on higher stat budget items

So it’s common to see people running around with 658 crafted cloak/wrist

However if you were to craft a weapon then it’s quite the opposite using the guilded to get a 675 would give you the most “bang for your buck”

ok so I'm thinking about this more... it costs 75 gilded crests to upgrade a mythic track item from 1/6-6/6. u get 90 gilded crests per week. most players are gonna get the vast majority of their mythic track items if not all through the vault system... that leaves u 15 extra gilded crests a week that aren't even being used for anything. and that's ASSUMING u get a mythic track that's useful every single week which highly likely won't be the case as you fill your character out and need less and less pieces. so I still don't see why it would ever be a good idea to with-hold power from yourself by crafting 658 or whatever the runed crests thing is rather than just send 675 asap for any piece. @coarse nest

• Reck / TR / BS on the pull
• BS again once it comes up (usually after the first set of barrels, but if it happens to come up in time, cool)
• Reck again once it comes up, but hold TR for barrels
• Reck, BS, and Avatar should all be available for the 2nd set of barrels
• if Reck or BS come up for the 3rd set, send, but they probably won't

after intermission, hold cds for each set of adds (or final "tunnel boss" call)

• Unless you bungled something, Avatar should come up just in time for the 4th set, in which case you can just hold for 5th

You can also try running Depths instead of Deft and Furious Enrage over Powerful for better CDR, just be careful to make sure you always Rampage immediately before Bladestorm or it may fall out of Enrage

Kind of a general question but how high are applicants expected to parse when getting into a mythic raiding guild from a heroic? So far I've mainly been a 90+ hero parser and 98 avg normal and I'd like to get into at least a 6/8 or wtv mythic guild next season but idk if that's realistic

you might have the wrong gems equipped. Also why are ur rings 652? you can upgrade them to 658 for free with the circlet trick

unequip all citrines from it
delete the cyrces circlet
get a new 658 cyrces circlet in siren isle from an npc with the "i deleted my cyrces circlet or some shit like that" dialog
equip in both slots
relog
now u can equip all rings for free up to 658

and dont forget to re-enchant it

also you need to always sim the different gem options - they perform differently for different sets of gear
