You’re looking at it wrong. spending 20 min trying to find the right group comp looking at RIO info for timed keys that level, current timed for the key, and past season scores/main specs is worth it. Else you run the dungeon for 30-45 min fail it, redo a group, and then start the cycle over vs give best odds and go.

Usually because you're not in combat yet
- Reck w/ Berserker's Torment triggers Avatar, generating 10 rage doubled by Reck to 20 rage
- Avatar after Reck also generates 10 rage doubled by Reck to 20 rage
- Charge deals 20 rage doubled to 40 rage
That totals exactly 80 rage, but rage also immediately begins decaying while out of combat, so as soon as you pop Reck that 20 rage is already ticking down to 19, so realistically you probably only have ~78 rage by the time your charge hits the target
Auto-attacks should push you over, but they also miss every once in awhile

it's a 28s buff, an extra 0.3s isn't going to make any difference and certainly isn't worth an extra keybind

Although it's sometimes handy to have reck on a seperate button, in case, let's say, you keep avatar for a big pull in m+ or damage amp phase on a boss, that won't last longer than just ava, but you could be sending a recklessness in between

Reck w/ DoI is also only 4s shorter than Ava, so it's exceptionally rare that you'd wanna purposefully desync them anyway
better example would be if you had a 2m trinket or Slots macro'd to Reck/Ava and wanted to use Reck without activating the extra effect - yes there are some niche circumstances to do it
but that scenario doesn't really have anything to do with the previous question either

on ptr it rarely ever procced
the proc works fine, but the weapon has full stat budget, so the effect isn't tuned to be a major source of damage
it typically contributes ~0.5% in single target (and obviously less on AoE), which is still better than a normal weapon, but not by a very wide margin
