If you have a myth track wep, and a BIS OH (for me even a 665 heroic OH), the 2 duskweaves with 1 heroic, 1 mythic sims notably higher than ascension OH does

If you have no access to a myth wep IE you don't push into 10s, or mythic raid, you will likely want to craft wep

However if you even have BIS+cap punisher heroic, I haven't simmed it, but it's likely those + 2 duskweaves sims at the WORST equal, if not higher

So even if you're a heroic andy, there are options outside of it

but basically yea after a certain amount of mast say idk like 21k rn maybe any more mastery than that you get at 90% value, and if you go further eventually its like 40% reduced then 70% reduced etc

but aside from maybe hitting that i think theres just different values in the way verse and mastery interacts with your own damage

like is 50% mastery and 0% verse better than 40% mastery and 10% verse? they both prolly dont flatly equal a 50% dmg buff

regardless robot does all that work for u so u can sim what the best thing for u to do is at that moment

but just blankly calling verse an m+ stat dont rly know what that means its just a dmg buff and dmg taken reduced plenty viable in both content

i think particularly its what all pvp gear stacks too cuz take less damage good

but things that require complicated weak auras should be kept to a minimum (not removed entirely, but only for large gains)

I think Arms' Execute is the biggest example of something that shouldn't be - way too many conditions that are hard to track naturally (without complicated weak auras)

unfortunately it is too big to get rid of right now, that's something blizz has to fix

we're all nerds here, but my philosophy has always been that APL should be lean more toward practicality than hyper optimization

Because the more complicated it is, the less likely players are to keep up with it, and if they're not keeping up with it, are the results the sim gives you even relevant in the first place?

• APL says one thing, guide says another
• Which does WoWAnalyzer tell you to do?
• Another site's guide tells you to do something else
  you see how everything starts to deviate and cause confusion

no, you can ignore it for the most part
there is an extremely small optimization to spam RB after Bladestorm to build up a big Rampage, but I wouldn't go out of your way for it (and you're still not necessarily getting to 5, since you'll likely run out of RB charges before that anyway)
