i mean aug is fundamentally flawed. they designed a spec for the casuals that wanted a support spec. but because most of its damage comes from buffing others it's just giga top heavy and is balanced around the best players/classes. shit is just a goddamn mess

I think it was nice for them to give a "buff" class another go, as thats all palas, shamans, and druids were in classic....its all based on DnD archetypes....but now even the casual players are just checking best builds and tier lists rather than just playing the game, it doesnt work

the issue is mainly that the interactions were too strong and attribution to who did the damage which is important in WoW is still a mess... also just having 1 specc like that causes problems, they would need like 3-4 for a new specc-type to actually work properly I think

That, plus the fact people are literally obsessed with parses and meters and tiers didnt help.
