Slam and WW can be on the same keybind using either talent profile sets or macros
you will never use them both at the same time, so there's absolutely no reason to have them keybound separately - don't think of it as pressing WW or pressing Slam, think of it as pressing your "filler"
and if you really wanna be fancy, throw Thunder Clap in there too, because it is also only ever used in the same place that Slam/WW are

Elemental damage ignores armor, which means its isn't subject to the ~30% reduction that physical is, but what actually happens is they just tune around that
- Condemn being Shadow damage didn't make it stronger than Execute, because they just changed the coefficient
- Making Dragonflight OF into physical instead of fire didn't make it weaker than the Legion version, they just increased the coefficient to account for armor
ultimately if the ability is intended to contribute ~10% of your damage (or whatever the target point may be), it doesn't matter what element it is; it's just flavor
