They're removing adds from logs, what effects that will have on how you play the fight depends on how much you and your group care about that change
It will be better for your parse for everyone to send cds on boss instead of adds, and having a shorter kill time will be important (esp if you can kill before the first add phase). Sending cds on adds will generally be a pretty bad idea (from a parse perspective), other than maybe OF
If you don't care about your parse, you probably want to play the fight the same as you were previously. The adds need to die for the intermission to end, so you killing adds quickly will speed up the fight and help other people who are more focused on boss damage do that

When I'm making (or joining) groups as a tank, I can easily make groups where every single dps has timed over 30 10s before in 2 minutes. Perhaps this might get a little better next week with crest changes but I dunno.
There's not enough groups running to not just want to take the 99% success rate group.

You need 1000fps for it to start looking like real life. You're used to 60fps and lower framerates. 120fps, 144fps and 240fps are much closer to 1000fps or real life while not quite being there and you get this uncanny valley effect. Tests have been conducted with 120fps movies shown to people but they still preferred blurry 24fps.
