So i got a couple of questions for anybody that feels well versed in Slayer single target rotation
- When we get to execute phase, do we only really want to execute whenever we got 3 stacks of marked for execution (or lack rage for rampage)
- Do we save bladestorm for major cds if we feel that we wont get back bladestorm in time ? (Like for example if its 30-35 seconds remaining on major cds)
- During normal rotation after the opener, do we always make sure to cast CB and BB in that order even if we are overcapped by the time we cast CB? Like, is it similar to season 1 in dragonflight where we always wanted to get out CB no matter what rage we were at?
- During normal rotation, if we get to the point where we can cast rampage and we have expended our CB and BB charges but execute is still up from SD procc. Do i avoid casting execute if its not at 3 stacks of marked for execution? Or do i want to try to cast it in order to lower the cd of BS? (if it is that specific SD procc that lowers BS that is up)

Depends on how many mythic track items you think you will get in the comming weeks. If you dont raid mythic and will get at most 1 myth track item per week then you will only need 75 crests per week to upgrade it

I personally like the idea, just rename the talent to Stances and it gives you access to two stances based on spec. Prot could get a choice between a physical damage or magical damage reduction stance. Both Arms and Fury get a variation of the ST or AOE focused one.

Technically it's also better to skip your BB in some scenarios but that's a really minor optimization and is likely to do more harm than good if you aren't absolutely certain when to do it

So, I just make another 636 but make it Crit Mastery. I think that's correct. Also, I think it's saying I have way to much haste and get more crit.

I think it's less that it undervalues sacbrood and more that it overvalues the 2m30s cd trinket in such a short fight length, and you probably have a bit more haste and less mastery than it wants

the items in the "bis" list are only truly bis when fully together. it is the most optimal of gear, one difference in gear will swap your priorities. that's why simming is better than looking at a list. the list is good for generalazation tho

Its a weird situation for us right now. With how almost needed we are in raid, and how potent our burst window is for how the raids are designed we are a very strong class, but the moment we step away from adds that have to die in 5 seconds its a lot more doomage

For me, dropping hack and slash and picking up VC let me keep TR with only a very minimal drop in single. But as always your mileage may vary.

also that parry doesnt mean 5 casts got parried, it means 5 hits of rampage got parried which is a lot less egregious considering it hits 4 times each cast

I was convinced of this, but then last time I killed sikran I found it very convenient that I got 5 ramp parries, and -5 casts of cb/bb, but it also shows up in logs as first hit didnt get parried at all, and watching vod I found at least once where I didnt get them, and once a hit got parried and I did so
