unless it's something that needs to be gamed early though (like Splice), you should really get in the habit of sniping reflect at the last minute to avoid people kicking or otherwise stopping your reflect

That's what I was used to, but I've noticed it being red even though the bar is almost full. MaybeI haven't been paying attention and it's trying to cover the duration of channels, while I normally just hit the reflect to send back the damage if my kick is delayed

Nah, doesn't display if it's on cd for me, and it shows red while the reflect is available. Only thing I can think is that if the ability is a channel maybe it charges up red to show when the cast goes off and I'd have to reflect after it actually casts to cover the duration. But that would be dumb considering most of the channels you have to deal with this season are death.

I would not recommend doing this on Mythic though if you get there
