Dslice is kinda hit or miss and actually writing APL for it is kinda weird, as gains in 5min 5target might be a loss in dslice because of the logic change going into a mix of AOE+ST. 90% of APL work is done on the 5min 1 target patchwerk and then built on from there. 5min patchwerk will always be the most optimized
