One thing I'm surprised about is how Burst of Power doesn't appear to influence the priority at all. It's just a free damage increase as the cooldown benefit really doesn't do anything. Hello I have a priority question. Thane fury, aoe situation. You are not enraged, have 80 rage, thunder blast is up but don't have any whirlwind stacks. Do you TB while not enrage so that your rampage cleaves, or do you rampage without cleaving so you TB while enraged?

Sharing some of my findings (and seeking feedback too if you see something off in Details).
I did some 3 target aoe rotations for both the Slayer M+ build and Thane M+ build. Slayer pulled ahead a little bit, ~60k. My tests weren't 100% pure. What I did was open with the burst rotation, then performed the 'main' rotation until the full burst window was opened again. Then I did the burst rotation followed by the main rotation. I did this until approximately 215m damage was done in Details. Ref image included for which dummies I was hitting.
Smol note: Thane's random lightning bolts sometimes hit the far left dummy, but only the single bolt every now and then. The main attacks were located on the 3 targets that I'm doing damage on in the pic.
How many targets does SimC test against on the Dungeon slice profile? Is it constant throughout the sim?

I'm trying to dynamically "load" my single target rotation WA when there's a single target in range. Furthermore, "unload" it when there are more than 1 targets around, thus "loading" the multitarget rotation WA. I use quotes for loading because in WA there's no public access to custom load functions. So I'm doing a simple alpha change at the group level to achieve the results I want.

The range check is querying for the actual nameplates (which makes sense in hindsight), whereas I thought it was doing some kind of SphereCast and returning actual target info. That being said, I was losing target information returned by the RangeCheck because sometimes my camera was culling the target NAMEPLATES.

So I'm looking at fury's rotation on wowhead. I'm noticing there isn't anything said about overcapping on rage, just to rampage if enrage is not active, and rampage after basically everything but base bloodthirst is off cd. Are we not worried about overcapping rage? Or is this just a "yeah use rampage close to cap, dug" kind of thing

try not to think of rage cap at all
just think about the other things first

So using JUST the priority listed above and not spending Raging Blow stacks when I'm at 2 charges unless I'm enraged, I find myself using Slam as filler more frequently than I would have thought -- should I be burning Raging Blow more often? Or is Slam just something that we do use sometimes?

Yeah. Made a build that leans hard into the Beyblade part of Slayer. Doesn't hit as hard on that 1.5min burst, but it isn't as useless outside of it. It also lets me actually feel like I'm playing fury instead of some godless abomination.
