It's a debuff on the enemy, it's not a buff on yourself

The only buff you gain from using OF is Avatar if specced into the right Torment, or Whirlwind stacks if you have Titanic Rage talented

If you don't see an OF debuff on the enemy, after you use it, then it's an issue with your UI

You basically want to press OF after there's around one second left on the OF dot that was caused by the Avatar cast so that you don't lose any Dot application because of how the Pandemic mechanic works.

Alternatively if you run TR you should cast OF to refresh your Whirlwind Stacks.

The buttons on my mouse are mostly utility/cds. Like pummel, ER,. reck, ava, shout, BS, MO execute.
It cant really ever be bad for gameplay if you set it up right. Need to have your hands working together
